Bought this as an addition to a very old Mitchell I bought decades ago, also with a bit alarm function. This is easier to operate than that old model, with everything integrated into the chassis.Alarm is loud enough to get your attention, leds are likewise bright enough to be seen.Only issue that I've noticed is that the line can sometimes slip out of the bail arm roller into a slight gap between the roller and the arm itself. It hasn't appeared to damage the line at all, but it's something to keep an eye on.

Thought I would give this bit of kit a second chance as I sent the first one back. I am more than happy. I can now sit and happily float fish with this set up by my side for a bit of ledger/carping.

Two reels were defective, only one was working. One had an electronic defect and the second a mechanical one. I don't recommend buying them, they are bad quality reels.

Would be a good product but ordered twice as came broken twice be better with thicker plastic.

I bought this for a friend who's starting to go carp fishing it's not really that good as a bite alarm but the real is not bad. Need some improvements on the alarm system

I did give this reel a 1star review as it was faulty, but I contacted the seller and the response was immediate, they sorted the problem no fuss no arguments, so I would definitely recommend this company, many thanks.

Runs really smooth easy to use buzzer not to loud and with light flashing easy to see bite very good
