Amodex Ink and Stain Remover 4oz

Took a bit of scrubbing on the carpet. But did a good job of removing the printer ink.

How to keep an idiot happy - convince them to part with an exorbitant amount of money for a bottle of nice-smelling stuff with the promise that it will remove permanent ink if you patiently scrub it in with a brush and move it around a piece of kitchen towel. It hasn’t even faded the ink blob, let alone removed it. What I resent even more than the money is the hope that it gave me. Take my advice: put the money towards a replacement of whatever you have ruined rather than waste it on this useless product.

Stain removal was good as it removed old biro marks from my grandson's football shirt. Easy to use and the bottle size was convenient to hold and small enough to be portable. Stains on cotton t-shirt faded after one go and I'm sure this will improve with multiple attempts. More expensive than other similar products but, for the effectiveness of the stain removal, it was value for money.

Was less effective than isopropanol hand sanitizer gel (put cereal bowl under the affected fabric and pour a good dollop of the gel and leave for 24 hours. A the ink comes out into the gel it may ring the surrounding area so wipe it down and keep a weather watch on the stain). Admittedly this was a significant ink stain that had dried in - so a demanding test.

Brilliant, this stuff removed already washed ball pen ink & blood!

Stupidly didn’t check pockets before putting a wash on and loads of permanent black sharpie ink transferred to a light green duvet cover. I tried a couple of well-known stain removers to no avail so this was a last ditch attempt. The instructions say to not use on wet fabric so I applied the product as directed and washed the duvet. The ink was still there. However, I’d read another review here that said give it another application onto the wet fabric and wash again. This time the duvet was spotless! I genuinely can’t believe how amazing this is.

I bought this as my son had a black biro explode in the pocket of his Levi 501’s & couldn’t find anything suitable to get the stains out. This was pricey for such a small bottle but didn’t mind as it says can get rid of sharpie pen marks & ink stains. Tried cleaning my son’s jeans with it last night. Used over half a bottle constantly scrubbing & scrubbing etc then put on a whites wash. Jeans came out of washing machine before & although the stains have faded slightly, there’s still unsightly marks on them so no this product doesn’t do as it says. What a waste of time, money & effort. Very, very disappointed & £15 out of pocket!!! Do not buy.

I tried this product to remove ink stain , all it did was to smudge the ink further and make it more ugly Completely ineffective

I was trying to find Hussard products but none available so gave this a shot- simply ineffective. Went into garbage.

This stuff is absolutely amazing! I put it on the fabric and rubbed it in with an old toothbrush. Nothing happened so I was afraid it was a dud. But I covered all the spots as directed and threw it in the washer with detergent and let it go. To my surprise every bit of red ink came out of my quilt!!! Couldn’t be more surprised or impressed with this product!! 5 Stars

Worked fabulously considering the item had been washed several times before using Ink and Stain remover.
