Easy replacement
A gust of wind broke the restrictor on my garden office door... I thought replacing would be beyond my skills - but with this nifty replacement, a YouTube video and a screwdriver everything was replaced and fixed within about 15 minutes. Seems to be sturdy, decent quality and easy to install - with customisable friction which might avoid the wind problem in the future!

Great 'door stay' and very easy to install.
Replaced the one that came with my back door as it stopped staying open. It took me 15 minutes to take the old one off and put this one on. The new one is not exactly the same as the old one as two of the screw holes were located in a slightly different place, but dead easy to screw the self tapping screws into the uPVC frame. Works great! My door now stays open at 90 degrees like it used to.

Ok but don’t quite hold the doors like previous ones I have bought.

Seems good value and functional
Very easy to fit following the instructions in the listing description pictures. Seems up to the job - time will tell if it holds open when its windy. These things don't last forever - so keep it lubed to help it operate and avoid corrosion.

Well made and simple install
Great quality restrictor, and simple to install. From opening to fitting was five minutes well spent. The instruction images on the product page is ingenuous and saves on unnecessary paper within the packaging!!

Good stop but frame screws too long!
Well the actual bar is a good quality much better than others I have bought on Amazon however the provided screws are too long for the bracket that attaches to the frame of the door which ends up knackering the frame so use shorter screws on the frame holes and the ones provided for the actual door (4). I would have assumed a trade supplier would have got this right!! However ASSUME anything just makes an ass out of u & me!

Bought to replace existing stay which had snapped. Very easy to fit snd holds door open in gentle breezes.
