Managing Apple Devices: Deploying and Maintaining iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite Devices Paperback – 8 May 2015

This was a five-star book when I bought it. One of my duties at work was to help manage a fleet of iPads in a "one to many" scenario using Apple Configurator and other tools and methods described in this book. The material presented by the authors was spot on, and its presentation was far more logical and orderly than online resources, so I found the text invaluable. Sadly, Apple has changed everything in Configurator 2 so this second edition is becoming less useful by the day.The good news is that Managing Apple Devices (3rd Edition) is out. If you have an immediate need, I can recommend it wholeheartedly... but unless someone buys it for me, I'm holding off for fear of getting burned by the upgrade cycle again.
