This looks great. The fabric, unlike what other reviews here think, is perfect. It’s not cords, just fabric, but it’s soft-making it easier to work with when styling, the length of the fabric gets tangled easily, but the only thing here is that styling and whatnot takes a lot of time and patience, and that’s down to the buyer. The product is great, the buckle is pretty, and it’s perfect for any outfit.

This is not leather/leather like AT ALL! It is just straps of fabric. That's all. Very disappointing.

This belt looks great when you first put it on, but becomes twisted and slips out of the little hooks every time you move around. I think with a couple of creative solutions, I'll be able to wear it for Halloween as I intended to, but as it is, it's kind of a pain to wear, and requires constant fidgeting and adjusting.The belt itself is very attractive and looks good when it is in place, making it worth a little extra effort to get it to hold still, in my opinion. The metal hardware is a nice size and the finish is pretty (not too shiny or matte, not cheap-looking). The strings are a soft suede-like fabric and drape in a flattering way.

Definitely for costume use, which is true to advertisement (that earns the second star, would be one if they didn’t advertise it that way). I bought it intending for regular wardrobe, as I really like the appearance and need a belt for some of my casual dresses. The metal clasp is ok in appearance and pretty solid. The strings are the problem. The material is stretchy and very thin (see first photo, you can see through it), which is going to get loose as it is worn. They are also not all continuous, resulting in tied and sewn sections along several strands. I’ll probably remove them and replace with something more sturdy and durable.

I saw a lot of complaints about the fabric of the straps so I wanted to clarify they are just a t-shirt like cotton but they work well and look nice. The entire thing is a great addition for Viking/RenFaire costumes for sure.I used mine at a fairy ball with a fortune teller set up and it looked amazing and held up super well. This thing will definitely last you a while with common sense treatment and care. Great buy.
