Direct fit
This control box was a direct fit for my 2013 Evinrude 30HP E-tec. the color wires were the same. worked perfect for my trim system and for starting the engine. all I had to buy was some Deutsch connectors to adapt to the wiring come form the boat. overall took me about 20 minutes to get the control box wired, crimped, and installed on the boat.also the construction is all aluminum. very sturdy product

Fell apart after second time out
Bought this to use on my 2013 200 hp Etec. All was well until the second time out the handle fell off. I took the controller off and discovered a bolt that holds the handle assembly had came loose. I put some thread lock on the bolt and put is back together. So far the shifter is working as it should
