Review: Great phone, exactly what I expected - Had this phone for a whole week and feel confident i have run it through its paces. I got this to replace a CAT62 that lasted me almost two years, but got ran over, tough but not that tough. My must haves in a new phone. A phone I didn't immediately have to remove preloaded programs and games I've never played before. Needed to be 5G on T-Mobile compatible The phone needs to survive my harsh work environment. Rain/Heat/Impacts/Vibrations First things first 100% compatible with T-Mobile 5G in Houston and surrounding areas. Most current OS, more features than they list, even an underwater camera mode, which I think is going beyond a claim of "Waterproof" to "We expect you to submerge this and use it". . . First day I used GPS for 10 hours, played podcast over bluetooth for 16 hours and installed 37 of my old apps (Banking, food, work, messaging) and set up the phone over 18 hours. Started from factory at 90% battery at 5 Am, ran it till midnight and I got it down to 56%. . . . More battery than I could conceivably need for a 24 hour period, I tried to kill it and it laughed. It is heavy and I don't see a lot of case options for it, but I kinda think that is by design, all a case would do is prevent body scratches on the back. I think they updated the software because you can change the time and format now, quick-key is programmable now for single, double, and long press. Comes with a few preloaded utilities, but nothing like a factory T-Mobile phone, Thank God!! I've put my old 32G SD card from my old phone in it just to have my files, but with this much memory it is unnecessary. Initial speed test on T-Mobile was 376mbps/65mbps and it was faster than my Nord N200 on 5G by about 30% downloading media or loading large files from testfiles-dot-org. Never worry again if you have space for that file, space for that app, or speed for the video or task, the answer is now YES. Criticism Speakerphone is not loud Factory case is meh. The phone restricts programs from draining resources in the background without prior authorization. If it deems the program is restricting performance it simply restricts it and lets you know so you can make an exception if you want it to, but doesn't ask, it restricts then ask after the fact. Once authorized it puts it on a safe list. In conclusion, I would buy another with no regrets, my impression is "It is the swiss army knife of phones, and even though it is large and heavy, it is worth it every day. If nothing else, in the land of $1k phones, this is a phone that will make others take a second look.
Review: A good smartphone for the money - I find this to be a good phone and with a long battery. Plus it is a sturdy one and you don't have to worry about the little things. The only problem I found at this point is it takes a while for a photo to take. But I bought this more for a work-based thing and it seems to be what I was looking for. Plus I think it is great for the price and a lot better than what you can find at some of the stores when you're trying to buy a phone as you're getting a service. The Android system works great and is smooth, I have not really tested the memory capacity at this point, and the screen is very clear. I would definitely recommend this to someone that needs a good work phone.

### ⭐⭐⭐ The hardware is excellent, however, the software...
*by A***N on April 26, 2026*

I purchased this phone for three reasons: 1. Long battery time; 2. Rugged (waterproof and shockproof); 3. Price (well below that of Samsung or other Android manufacturers, which, IMHO is ridiculous). All three reasons met my expectations: 1. Long-lasting battery: The way I use my phone (i.e. not wasting hours looking at dumb videos on youtube or Facebook, or whatever), the battery lasts me one full week until it discharges to 15% (the battery level I chose to have the Battery Saver turning on) . It doesn't charge fast, which I appreciate because fast charging reduces a Li-based battery life. 2. Although shockproof, the phone came with a polyurethane sleeve to protect the finish in case it's dropped. It has a nice, checkered case, and the USB-C port is covered by a rubber cap which is retained to the case by a (rather short) rubber string. The tray for the micro-SIM / microSD card has a rubber gasket (O-ring) to prevent water from getting in. There is a third button that can be customized for various commands (which I don't use, however, other people might find it useful). 3. The price at the time of my purchase was $291, well below the $1,000 for a Samsung. The pictures I took with it are so-so. Which is to be expected, considering the price for this phone. However... The Achilles's heel is its software. I'll point out some VERY frustrating behaviors (read "bugs") that, even after several updates, they're still there: - It doesn't connect to the carrier's data network (in my case, T-Mobile) when switching form a local Wi-Fi network (for example, when leaving your home or work network). This happens randomly - sometimes it switches properly, and sometimes it doesn't switch. The workaround is pretty simple (I'll give it for users who didn't figure this out yet): select "Sim card and mobile data" from the Settings; choose "Mobile network"; touch "T-Mobile (Active/SIM)" (your network might be different); select "Advanced"; select "APNs". T-Mobile US should have a circle with a dot in the center; if the dot is missing, the phone is not connected to the data network for Internet access. (You may have phone connection through 4G or 2G, but you won't get 5G.) Touch the circle - now it should have the dot in the center; get back on your home screen by touching the "Back" arrow (not the phone's "Home" circle icon); touch the "Internet" button from the drop-down menu at top-right to disconnect the Internet, then reconnect it. The phone should be connecting to the Internet. While this may sound simple, don't try to do it while driving! - The "Home" screen is poorly designed: you can only have four icons on the shortcut bar at the bottom, and the icons don't look that great (OK, that's a subjective taste - other's mileage may vary!) My solution was to install the Nova Launcher. - The "Send" icon in "Google Messages" is poorly positioned. You can easily touch it, and send it accidentally before your finish your message. (This might be a Google's poor design.) Thus, forget about using the phone single-handed! - Taking pictures with the camera is yet another frustration: the camera automatically rotates the picture without the user making the choice to rotate it, despite the fact that the "Auto-rotate" function is disabled (again, found in the drop-down menu at top-right of the screen). - The screen auto-rotates even when accessing a web page, although the "Auto-rotate" function is disabled. Again, it's random, so I couldn't figure out why it does that. Considering all these factors, I wouldn't buy this phone again unless I would use it for other purposes - installing Linux on it, for example; or use it as a monitoring/surveillance camera.
