For the money this is a really nice meter. Battery life holds up well. I did not know what to expect with so many meters out there it is hard to know what to buy and if you need an expensive one or will this do the job. Out of the box I powered it up and went straight to my kitchen where I actually discovered a GFI outlet that was overheating and burning up because of a toaster oven I had plugged into it. The screen visibility is easy to read and see (sure more expensive units have better screens - wow). Great value for the money and had all the functions I was looking for under $200. It told me how hot the cord and the outlet were, seemed pretty accurate to me especially when I went to unplug the toaster oven cord and felt how hot it was.

Awesome for this price. Received it in mint condition brand new! Bought this for leak detection and inspecting my house. Right out the box it was fully charged! 5 days later, still is. I turned it on I found a really hot heat detection in my ceiling of my 4 year old house. Yup! It is a buried air supply. Every home owner should have this thing! Helped me with a leak in the ceiling also. Found the source. So it paid for itself already! Get yours now!

Well made, well delivered camera. Oddly similar to the flir my friend has. Like, identical. Performs above expectations, im very impressed with this. I was going to get a usb plugin type for my phone, saw this and went for it. Well executed product, no complaints from me. Easy to use, and the lazer pointer makes it super easy to pinpoint issues. Specifically water lines in a concrete floor, so we can avoid issues when drilling anchors.

The camera works great, but I removed a star due to it taking screenshots every time the laser trigger is released. There is no way to turn the screenshots off.

This is a must have I use it to find insulation out of place, water leaks, and also found out that some of my low E doors weren't doing their job. Easy to use, and a great tool to have around just incase.

Simple to use. Shows the max and min temperatures objects in the viewer. Very easy to switch between views (thermal/visual/fusion - a mix of the thermal and visual). The thermal view is very easy to interpret. It has a readable manual. For the most part the user interface is intuitive. So far I have only needed the manual to learn how to switch between views. Setup was a breeze. I have no idea how accurate it is but that isn’t important for my application. I’m using this device to sort out hvac duct leaks and getting data to adjust heating vents to balance my hvac system. Build quality is excellent

Bought and returned HF98 when the screen froze and would not take a charge after using it only a few times. This one lasted long enough so that I can no longer get a replacement. Works great until it quickly no longer works
