Good supplement of soluble fiver
I use this daily with milk. You have to mix and shir well, otherwise will form lumps of dough. The taste is not great but is not bad either, tastes like raw flour. Its a good supplement of soluble fiber.

Life changing habit
Without too much health history, I have had a colonic resection and my bowels are a little lazy and my peristalsis is not what it was..This powder ..just a teaspoon morning and night had restored my regularity and in doing so helped me lower blood pressure, loose unwanted belly fat and cleared my 'Farmer Giles'..My only small concern is the fact that you need to stir the lumps out very quickly and gulp it back otherwise it can turn to a 'wallpaper paste ' viscosity and is rather alien to gulp back..I find a little squash and a small whisk breaks down the undissolved lumps in short order and a little Orange squash give a pleasant flavour to an otherwise bland pleasure. Purity is key as the Californians have decided that some samples of Psyllium Husk contain high levels of lead and are deliterious to human health. Cheers..

Great product, rubbish bag seal
No issues with the product - a teaspoon everyday in porridge. It changes the consistency of it, but not in an unpleasant way. My only appeal to manufacturers is to upgrade the bag seal. It's useless and it extremely difficult to make the seal, and for it to stay sealed. Sort that and you get five stars!

Taste like pencil sharpenings
I was asked to try this. Without going into to much details. At first I was very hesitant to try this thinking it would ruin all my hard work of trying to eat more fibre. My consultant asked me to lose a little weight. Before going for an operation. Well it’s okay I think it tastes like pencil sharpenings, I have mine with 250ml of water and a big heap spoon. Mix it well and down in one, then a little water chaser after. All the water intake make you piss like an horse, but you have to do it, cause it pulls water out of the body to help soften stools.it will make you very thirsty. Keep drinking water through out the day. I do 2 litres a day. Hope this helps

Misleading packaging — turned my baking purple and arrived in clumps
I bought this because the packaging shows bread rolls, so I assumed it was the right type of psyllium husk for baking. Unfortunately, what arrived was nothing like the product shown. Instead of the light, flaky husk that most low‑carb and gluten‑free recipes rely on, this was an ultra‑fine powder. It behaved completely differently: it turned my bread and rolls purple, which is a known issue with over‑processed psyllium. It also arrived clumpy, and no amount of mixing stopped it from leaving dry, gritty lumps throughout the dough. The listing has plenty of positive reviews, but there isn’t enough detail to understand what you’re actually buying. The picture of bread rolls on the packaging is especially misleading — this product is not suitable for baking in the way most people expect. If you need proper psyllium husk for bread or rolls, this isn’t it.

Great product.
So good. It’s really helping me bind bile and my stool looks a lot better. No bloating or anything and less gas as well. Highly recommend!

Great for fiber, but the taste is a struggle
I bought this because I don’t doubt for a second that it works well to increase fiber intake, and the quality of the powder seems high. However, I have to be honest about the experience of actually taking it. The taste is absolutely horrendous - it honestly tastes exactly how a horse smells. I also found that it didn’t mix well with water at all as it just clumps up, which makes it very difficult to get down. While it’s a large 500g bag and good value for the amount you get, I’ve since found it much easier to just take psyllium in tablet form instead. If you have a sensitive palate, you might want to stick to the capsules!
