Worried at first, but after first 2-weeks, can't imagine working without them.
At first, a little tight on the maximum length, but after wearing for 3 days of 12-hour shifts, they seemed to loosen enough to feel comfortable, now to the point of barely noticing them on. Over the course of 1 12-hour shift, I say I maybe have to pull them up a little 2-3 times, but really only after up and downs constantly in a short time. Durability is great, as I can drop straight to my knees in an instant and feel fine. They go and off easily and with only 4 clicks. For the price, I'm impressed and plan on buying more as back-ups for coworkers. Great value.

Great
These are great! I have two very bad knees from years of abuse. I can actually kneel down and install baseboards without pain. I've bought three pairs of these one for me and one for the two boys.

You might knee it.
Yup I went shooting a 12 hour photo event in these, saved my knees on the 2 day outdoor event.I know I would have knee pain if i didn't get these.Comfortable for long day. Quality seems to hold up.no problem for me.

Not made for bigger legs.
Lower strap doesn’t stretch like the upper strap so if your legs a fat, chunky ,just bigger you may have a problem getting them to go on if your able to ,I have different pairs knee pads and all of them I can crisscross the straps , I find it better for my self to hook the lower strap to the top and lower to the bottom but with these 5’11 THERES NO WAY THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN UNLESS YOU CUT AND MODIFY THEM YOURSELF.. I don’t recommend them to guys with bigger legs,smaller guys should have no problem?

Buy these!
I recommend these to everyone from tactical guys to construction workers. Way way WAY better than normal knee pads.

they break almost immediately
very bad showing from 5.11 tactical. Went out on a training evolution with some military unit personnel, and these knee pads broke on first use. They broke putting them on! The clips break just like that other reviewer's did. The straps are cheap too, and the edges of the plastic shields catch on door frame and other obstructions when doing room-clearing exercises. Pretty much, they are junk.

Protects my knees from everything
Ran my first PRS match with no knee pads and instantly regretted it and bought these. Fit well and snug, protect from everything and hard gravel. They work great.

Good Pads
Hold up well for car maintenance and drills at the range. Don't slip as much as my last generic pair.
