I've been waiting for the prices to go down to a reasonable price for these units. Now that they have, I have bought many of them now. For me, it was very easy to setup, using the phone App, Smart Life", it was so simple. Open the App, click on add device, it found mine in 15 seconds. Type your WiFi password in, the rename the unit to, example, " Living room 1". Then got o Amazon Alexia web page or use phone App, add the Skill Smart Life. Once the skill is enabled, the program will find any and all added units to the list. From that point forth you can speak or use your Alexa app to control each and every individual units. You can also use the normal Smart Life app anywhere in the world to turn your lights or whatever on and off. As long as you have a Wi-Fi service in the area you want to put the unit at, then you can use it wherever. No more walking into a dark house or dark room when you can either speak and have it turned on or use the app and press a button to turn your lights on.

These are the greatest idea. no more timers that go off at the same time every night. I program mine to go one and off at different times ( I do it every day but if someone is watching your house and thek keep seeing different lights going on and off then someone must be home. One other great thing about them is that you can use it as a timer. I use it to recharge my iPhone, iPad and laptops. I set it for 1 hr approx and it shuts off the power. So you are not overcharging your batteries. You will have to figure out how it takes to get a proper charge. In the long run they save you $$$. My neighbors electric bill is cheap. She leaves her lights off and then uses her phone to turn them on when she pulls up in the driveway. So there are all kinds of uses for them. I currently have 8 of them in use.

Smart Plug works with the company's app BUT fails to link up with Amazon Alexa.I purchased these because the item description supports Amazon Alexa but when trying to Link Alexa with the Smart Outlet, you always get the error message "We were unable to link Smart Life at this time." Well, I tired about six to seven times. The manufacturer needs to troubleshoot and update their system software interfacing with Alexa.If you need a Wifi controller outlet, this works.If you want Alexa control, NO. It does not work. I bought this switch last year and used only one. Setup is not that easy. I had to do it multiple times to connect to wifi. Been using it for quit sometime. iOS app is horrible. It doesn't save the timing. I often have to do it manually and sometimes switch goes offline.Today I opened the 2nd switch from the box. Tried multiple outlets to connect to wifi but failed. I literally sat next to router but it still didn't work. Its just a piece of junk.

3 stars because sometimes its work, sometimes it doesnt.I can't seem to figure it out, says network error on my plug from time to time even though it worked before. Test network connection through the app smart life and says network error. Router is within 2 ft, phone is within 3 feet from plug and router. Unsure if all wifi plugs are like these or is it just this one.

Ever since getting my smart speaker, I have become addicted to smart plugs! These are pretty great, are easy to set up, and uses the app I already use for the rest. I use these for my grow lights and can make a schedule that is as complicated or easy as I want. You really can use these for anything that has a switch to turn it on and off. These fit nicely in my outlets and work great so far.

I waited a while to post this review just to make sure everything works and continues to do so. Does what it is supposed to do in the way it is supposed to do it.

I purchased this smart plug and so far I like it a lot. I am using one in my room next to my night table to control my reading lamp and another one in my son's room for his night lamp and so far is great. It was easy and quick to set up, works great with Alexa, and has a long range.
