Elden Ring Official Strategy Guide, Vol. 3: Shadow of the Erdtree

This is the epitome of the perfect book for a game.. I can't wait to get the other two when I can afford them. It is a beautiful book. Maps of the dungeons showing the layout. That is so helpful! It is not a walkthrough. It is an explanation of everything with tons of maps of every area, where every boss is location etc. But you are still on your own to find your way. After all, you are a tarnished...Seriously, it's the perfect book!!

I have always wanted to get ahold of one of these Future Press guides for myself. I couldn’t resist getting this one once I saw it go on sale for about $36. I have been slowly reading through it, and it is chocked full of so much information. I have already beat Shadow of the Erdtree multiple times, so I don’t need this guide as much as I just wanted it. I am happy to report that it’s a well written guide with most information included. Considering I’ve beaten the game numerous times, I can say that this guide book would be very helpful to someone who is brand new to the game. It is also a must-have for huge Elden Ring fans like myself. The amount of time and energy put into this book is commendable. The artwork is incredible and vibrantly detailed. The pages feel nice in my hands. They are thick enough to where it feels like it can handle a little wear, but not too thick either. The map of the Realm of Shadow is very cool too. It comes separate, so you could hang it as a poster if you’d like. One side of the map is unlabeled, and the other side is labeled with all points of interest. Every little piece about this guide book is extremely well thought out and detailed. I even enjoy that they added a section that offers some new build ideas for SotE, and the small chapter of concept art. There are some things included that even veteran players like myself can find new and interesting. I highly recommend this to any Elden Ring fans. Especially get it while it’s still on sale. Once these books sell out , people try to resell them for exorbitant prices. Just look at the first two volumes of the Elden Ring guide. They are all over resale sites for at least over $100, if not a few hundred dollars. Get the third and final volume while still can for a reasonable price. True Elden Ring fans won’t regret it. I also want to note that I didn’t experience any issues with shipping. I’ve seen many people complain that their books came damaged from shipping, and that is completely on Amazon anyway for not packaging books securely. I had no issues though, and mine came in a proper box meant for shipping books. It showed up on my steps in the box, wrapped in plastic wrap stil, and completely protected and in mint condition.

Sure you can Google hints or watch YouTube videos but these Souls game guides are not only beautiful to flip through but they contain all the information you will ever need without having to go on the internet and search through hundreds of videos. Maps. Enemy strategies. Full item list. Easy five stars

This is as large as any of the Dark Souls books, and it's only for the DLC! I have this entire series because they're amazing and the only strat guides I buy anymore. It's still in plastic. Still gets five stars. I don't have to look at it to know.All three books in the series are larger than the first three dark souls games. massive content. Must have for fans.

Just like it's predecessors this is a gorgeous book full of amazing art work and detailed maps. My only beef is that some of the Weapons have incorrect attribute scaling info published in an official book. Several weapons that scale with Dex, most notably the Dancing Blade of Ranah, have it's scaling values listed as Strength when the weapon is a pure Dex scaling weapon. There are several other weapons that have similar issues in this book. Some additional proof reading/editorial work would have helped with making this a 5 star purchase.

The ultimate helping hand for the land of shadows. Chock full of info for enemies, maps, bosses and just info needed to progress through the lands of shadow. Worth every penny.
