I like the case. It's made of a harder plastic and there are snaps which make it even more secure. It would be really useful if you travel with just one or two brushes. I'm not sure if I will actually use the case because I usually throw all my travel brushes in one bag.The handle of the brush is made of a shiny, metallic material that isn't too bad of a fingerprint magnet. The brush is so dense that it's actually a bit of a pain to wash and dry. But I think it's worth the time and effort to clean it because it provides a really fast foundation application.The brush works well with both liquid and powder foundation. If you have smooth skin, feel free to swipe with the brush but if you have textured and/or dry skin, I would apply a thin layer of foundation on your face with a spatula or a finger and then use the brush to stipple and blend out the foundation. Because of how big the brush is and how dense the bristles are, applying foundation is so quick and you can easily build up the layers for more coverage. However, it's also easy to go overboard and suddenly end up with heavier coverage than you might want.

This is a dual ended brush which can be used for applying concealer or blending in. Its small tip makes it easy to use around small coverage areas like eyes, lips and nose.

My wife uses this for applying her make-up. Bristles are short and soft, not scratchy or stiff, no discomfort. Works well for even application of her make-up products. Price is reasonable for the quality of this brush.

The bristles are very soft. The dual ends make it very convenient to apply and blend eyeshadows. I’ve had it several months now, use it daily, and regularly wash it; I’ve experienced no shedding.

This brush is the best I've found for applying foundation. I had a similar one from a no-name brand; it finally fell apart after two years of use, so I was very glad to find a replacement from a well-known brand. This one feels slightly softer than my old one, yet is denser so it spreads foundation even more smoothly. And my foundation goes on so quickly. I just apply some dots of foundation around my face, then use this brush to spread and blend them. It works so quickly and the results are so smooth. It covers beautifully! Even those weird places like my nostrils and the deep pores on my nose are covered evenly and smoothly, with no brush marks anywhere on my face. This brush even comes in a neat little case that latches closed, to prevent foundation from getting on the other items in my makeup bag. I just can't recommend this brush enough!
