## Description

The MFSL Geo-Disc is an adjustment template based on the calculations of the mathematician Baerwald. Decades ago it was considered extremely reliable and since then nothing has changed about the math of scanning. Colour: black. Size: approx. : 311 x 311 x 5 mm Instructions: With the help of the MFSL Geo-Disc and these instructions, you can get in just a few minutes and with seven easy steps to correct pickup adjustment on each rotary tonarm. Their adjustment corresponds to the classic calculations according to Baerwald. 1. Mount the system into the tone arm and tighten the screws only slightly. You need to be able to move the system later. Connect the four connection cables to the connectors at the back of the system. The following colour coding is mostly applicable: white = L + = left plus blue = L = left minus red = R + = right plus green = R = right minus now adjust the support force and the anti-skating force on the tone arm. Both should have identical values. 2. Place the Geo Disc on your turntable like an ordinary record. 3. Sight the pivot point of your tone arm along the raise of the A-B. This is almost always in the middle of the bearing. A few more tips for this: With straight tonarms, you can simply take the tone arm and guide it to the centre so that it runs parallel above the elevation A-B. With monarms with single point bearing, the bearing tip is the right point for aiming. For curved tonarms, aim at the centre of the horizontal bearing. Once you have targeted the pivot point, it is best to prevent accidental rotation of the plate by means of an adhesive strip. 4. Now set the overhang by moving the pickup system back and forth so that the needle tip makes contact with the Geo Disc when the tone arm is lowered to point C in the middle of the grid grille. 5. Next, you set
