I absolutely love this product! It provides amazing coverage for my dark hair and completely covers my grays. I used to get it from Sally’s but it’s cheaper on Amazon and comes to my door. Not to mention that the color is rich, vibrant, and long-lasting, leaving my hair looking healthy and refreshed. The formula is easy to apply and doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry or damaged. If you’re looking for a salon-quality dye that truly works, this is it! Highly recommend.

Excellent color, excellent gray coverage. It doesn’t fade over time. Honestly the best hair dye I’ve used. Most color fades off my gray hairs in a couple of weeks but this one doesn’t, can’t recommend it enough!

I mixed 6A and 5NN together, hoping for the sweet spot of completely cool undertones and full gray coverage, and it achieved both! No previous box/kit has been able to do this, and I’ve been exhausted by “cool” and “ash” brunette colors that inexplicably pull red and/or leave grays unpigmented. While this combo did come out darker than my ideal light-medium ultra cool ash brown, I had anticipated as much (per the product notes), and next time will experiment with the just #6 browns. My hair is very long (2 inches below my waist) so I used both full tubes and 4oz of the branded 20v developer. I processed for 45 mins on 2nd day clean hair with no post-shampoo/conditioner product. Definitely don’t use this on a freshly cleaned scalp or you’ll get itchy/stingy as this is an ammonia based product. The ammonia vapors are very strong at first, so be prepared—it’s not a lightweight DIY color. (Natural/ammonia free dyes have failed to cover my grays no matter the brand or formula.) I will say that despite the formulation, I didn’t find it to be conditioning, which I mention for anyone who factors that in. HOWEVER, it’s a non-factor for me; I have numerous beloved conditioning products to do that job. All I want out of hair color is total gray coverage and true-tone pigment payoff, and this delivers both in spades. I’m glad I finally found a product that does what I need, and will be exclusively using this brand from now on.

Wanted to customize my hair color and this product made it incredibly easy. Lots of blogs and easy to read instructions to diy at home. I used 5NN and 5RV. Put 5nn on roots. Mixed in the 5RV to mid shaft to bottom, 45 min process time. Color subtly changes in different lighting. My hair feels incredibly soft. Will be using again!

I decided to try this product as I was looking for a hair product that might help with hair loss and give great coverage for my grey hair. The end color was much darker than I anticipated. My hair felt great and was soft after washing and styling my hair. I am not sure if there are benefits for hair loss it would take more than one application. I was a little disappointed that the color only lasted about two weeks before the grey started to return. Normally my other salon brand color lasted about 3-4 weeks. I will definitely try it again to see if there are any long term benefits in regards to hair loss. I would recommend selecting a color one shade lighter than you would normally.

I got it for my mom, she said it is the best hair dye she has ever used. It covers the white hair in a great way, and never dry or cause any breakage. Absolutely loved it!
