Cards not stable in packing. Bent out of shape.
I was pretty sad when the cards arrived. I was buying them for my blind gf for Christmas. The packaging of the cards has no box the size of the cards. So when they got cold perhaps in shipping they bent all out of shape. The size of the cards is not a normal size deck too, it's like a mini deck.

Good distinct braille and quality cards
Cards are normal quality with a conventional finish. The card face has a different textured feel on the back so a blind person can avoid revealing their cards face out. The braille bumps were distinct and clean. Our blind friend has no difficulties.Since the braille bumps (in both corners) are fairly deep, the actual stack of cards is very "fluffy" and slick. So they won't stack for drawing and discarding. I made a 2 sided box to hold the cards in a stack. This also meant that our friend can easily find the box tp draw and discard for our game.Amazon has a similar box or search "Playing Card Tray". This Amazon box looked good because it is a "2 deck" box and that height is needed for this fluffy deck over an inch and a half thick.https://a.co/d/cC43QliShuffling. Cards are slick and don't stack nicely (due to braille) so it is easier by splitting in half and shuffling each half separately. Our blind friend has fun and is able to participate without help. Amazing. We played "31" which means holding only 3 cards--they slide away pretty easily

What a piece of junk!
This is one of the crappiest items I have ever been disappointed to receive. The cards are very thin plastic and the process of applying the Braille dots warped them in the extreme. I had to select at least one star or I wouldn't have checked any stars. I hope I can return this item with little hassle and that I receive a refund.

Unusable
Purchased these cards to be able to play family games at Thanksgiving, but they're so bent you can't hold them let alone trying to hold them and read the braille. Super disappointed.

Braille playing cards...
My wife works with visually impaired, special needs kids. She wanted to try these cards out - here's what she likes:- The cards are made of durable plastic and are washable.- The braille characters are at opposite corners and easily discernable and were accurate for each card. The braille has positive texture on the face of the card, and inverse texture on the back of the card.- The cards have a different feel front and back; smooth outer and textured on the face of the card.- The kit has the 52 playing cards and 2 jokers. Some comments...- Since they are braile cards, they don't stack well and the deck is thicker on the ends than in the middle.- The cards are fairly slippery and will take some getting used to.- The cards come in a Ziplock bag that is difficult to store them in (reinserting). We found a small plastic snap-container to store and transport them in.Overall, this set should serve visually impaired players well.
