Fancy Dress Store Partiss Mens High Neck Trench Coat

Well I'm not too sure how to go about reviewing this. I ordered a large because it said the chest was 42-44 but ran small. I wear a 40, so I assumed I gave it enough leeway. Not even close. I couldn't even get the jacket on. I decided to return it. shipping back to China was ~$25, basically half the price of the coat, and it explicitly says there is no guarantee of a full refund. It didn't seem worth it to send it back. When we got home my girlfriend tried it on. She is 5'4" and wears a size small woman's. It fits her perfectly, which is no where close to my size. In my opinion the misleading size information and cost to return warrants a 1 star, but the quality of the coat is decent, and the customer service was actually pretty good. The seller decided to give me a partial refund of $28 without returning the coat. For them to refund me half the price of the coat (I paid $55.98) without returning the product deserves 5 stars for customer service and trying compromise. It was a lose lose for both parties, but I feel it was a pretty fair resolution. I know they expect a 5 start review, but I decided to average it and round up, so that there is still some creditability to the review and it's just like my refund, a little more than half hehe.

The mannequin in the picture must be 4'9 or something because this trench coat is not very long at all. I'm only about 5'9 and the coat does not go 5 inches past my waist. The fabric is fairly thin, so this will not keep you warm on a cold day. The fit is fairly small. I'm a built guy that hits the gym often, and the shoulder/chest area is tight on a large. I'd recommend not buying this if you're a bigger chap in either weight or height as the pictures are a bit deceitful. If you're an average to smaller guy, this would definitely work.

Great quality and design; very poor size accuracy. I'm 6"3' and ordered the large (which had on the label XL) and I couln't even try it on so I had to give it to my wife

For the price, great. I'm 6'0", 170lbs and a large fits pretty well. The sleeves could be longer and the shoulders slightly broader but the chest and waist are perfect, however, I am on the lengthy/ skinny side of body types.I ordered this with the intent of using it around art projects I work with that involve fire because it was listed as 100% cotton (which won't melt like most synthetics). The tag does in fact say 100% cotton however the liner is nylon. A quick lighter test showed the shell to singe but not ignite or melt (true to cotton) but the liner turned into a flaming ball of molten goo. Because I intend to wear this near extremely high heat sources and possibly in contact with open flame, the nylon is a HUGE problem for me, especially since it is in direct contact with my skin. I have removed the nylon and am in the process of sewing a new non-synthetic liner to solve this melting hazard. I believe the description now reads "Cotton Blend" which although still leaves questions like "blended with what" and "in what proportions," is far more accurate than 100% cotton. I've attached a photo of the 100% cotton label sewn into the nylon liner.This coat is thin and probably won't keep you very warm in extreme cold. There is no insulation either.If my intended use were not so specific, this would be an great light coat for the money.

The style of the coat shipped to me was markedly different from the pictures: it did not have a high collar, the buttons were larger and did not fit the button holes, and the side pockets were slanted. I attempted to return the jacket, but I discovered that the company is in China and it would cost me half as much the cost of the jacket to return it.

It's exactly the way it is a wind break. Am not going to talk bad about it because it will do exactly what is supposed to do. Something to wear over a shirt. It will work am 5'6 174 Pounds got a large it fits could went extra large. Ok good luck .

Sizes run very small. Bought a size large as a Christmas gift for my son, who is broad shouldered and normally a men's size Medium. The "coat", which is actually more like a lightweight jacket, was tight on his shoulders and biceps. The item actually fit me, a ladies' size 6/small.

I liked the jacket, however, it ran smaller than advertised.I do recommend, just buy two sizes bigger than what you would normally buy.For example, I wear a Med. I bought a Large but it was still small. I wouldrecommend an extra large.
