Columbiawomen's NEWTON RIDGE PLUS

I am not a hiker and decided last minute to hike the Adirondacks at the end of October (think: cold/snowy/wet/rainy/muddy/icy). I needed hiking boots and got these. They were cute in person and were exactly as pictured.These are true to size! I’m a 7 and these fit well. I even wore 2 pairs of socks. I did NOT break them in AT ALL and 100% expected sore feet after the hike. These did NOT hurt my feet at all! The boots were durable, held up during a 10 mile/5.5 hour/2000 ft elevation hike.10/10 would recommend

Wore these for the first time hiking the Hoh Rain Forest and several waterfalls in Washington and it had just rained, so lots of mud and water puddles. These shoes were comfortable and kept my feet dry and warm (with my wool socks). I would highly recommend these shoes for comfort and dryness when hiking.

I wear these to work almost everyday, they’re so cute and comfortable once you break them in!!! Definitely not slip resistant though, I work around water and I am constantly catching myself from falling when walking on wet pavement

The leather size 8 grey with pink laces, hiking boots are super cute but had to return them same day. The left boot hurt the top of my foot just under the toes with the bend when walking (see pic). Also, same foot, the rear rubbed my Achilles tendon or back of ankle. I did read another review said the same thing, so I just want to mention that it was same for me too. Other than that, they are well made and light weight, and I would say they are just a tiny bit smaller than the "true-to-size" fit people were stating.

Very happy with these hiking boot shoes they’re comfortable and true to size they fit like a glove!
