You need to have this plugged in to use the app.The device is solidly built and has 2 outlets that can be independently controlledI was able to link it to Alexa and use voice command to activate.Do note that you cannot keep it too far away from the usb thingie or atleast I have not been able to find how in the short while I have had it. For me the convenience of using phone or voice to open or close is very good.You will need a few connectors to get it to connect to tap / outlet pipe (mostly 3/4 inch).

The media could not be loaded. This water timer is fantastic. Bought it without much in mind to see how would it update my garden, and it did not disappoint. I have it for just a few days, it looks the plastic is sturdy, rubber washers seem good to last for a good while. There are two individual valves to be operated automated and/or when needed, so no need to override the sessions you’ll set up as needed. With the wifi controls, system is quick to respond as visible on the video. With the app it searches through the weather forecast and can skip the watering during rainy days. I didn’t have problems placing options in the app as it is just a few steps as shown in the manual.App shows the history of previous watering time/duration. It reports the water timer’s battery level, so there shouldn’t be any surprises while away from it. There was no issues with later connectivity when wifi transmitter is off or phone was far from the water timer, it continued working properly and no new setup was needed.I have yet to attach it to the drip watering system in the garden, I'll trust it to push the water for couple dozen meters. I'll recommend this one for sure.

These timers are very useful if like me you regularly forget to water your garden or are too lazy! I have one outlet attached to a sprinkler and one going to a drip irrigation system in the green house.I've previously had the single outlet version and that had great build quality and this seems to be the same quality as that. It's easy to set up and use.

This product really worked once i fathomed out how to use it. It requires a 2.4ghz WiFi frequency to work. Which is a shame as had to get a new WiFi router and it's minum time setting is 1minute and I really needed the minimum to be 1 second so it would be very handy if there was an update to the settings that facilitates a 1 second minimum spray setting as soon as possible. As im going to need to buy another one to get that setting in the mean time. I would give a 5 star rating if the minimum usage setting was lowered to 1second and up.

Bought this water timer to manage my lawn sprinkler. Lawn was drying up this summer as I have not been able to give time, this saved my garden.Extremely easy to use, came with clear instructions and works perfectly. It helped that I had smart life app already, it detected the sprinkler and controller immediately and this was ready to use in minutes.Able to set the timer and control the outlets seamlessly.Life is easy now.. would definitely recommend.

Complete crap. Unless you’re within Bluetooth range of the controller, there’s no way to program the timer, change it, or water manually via wifi. Why call it a wifi controller when as best as I can tell, the only thing wifi is for you to set up an account. I need to be able to control and adjust the device from a remote location - not just within Bluetooth range. It’s going back !

Installed the day it arrived, opening the app and it connected in an instant

The build quality is pretty good but so far the app control and watering times are inconsistent. It is coming on daily as far I can tell but the record of irrigation times are inaccurate. There is also a messaging service that tells you when the device has opened the valve which worked a few times but has now stopped. Also the description implies that it is somehow automatically weather forecast controlled but this is not the case. It shows you a weather forecast and gives you the option to delay the next watering for x number of days. Translation is poor.
