Overall for the price point its good. I almost went with 4 stars, but its working excellent and a lot better than an old school micro-cassette recorder of the past. Price point is very attractive. LOL.... The user interface is very dated, but works. And lets face it if you are using a voice recorder like this you might want this old school interface. They could still clean up the old interface better and make it easier to use, but it works. The manual is of no help. If you use a microSD card, the max supported size is 32gb, which believe it or not are getting harder to find. The biggest issue is that with a 32gb brand name card boot times are like 20 seconds. 20 seconds before you can hit the record button and get the idea out of your head. I found a 8gb brand name card and that boot time is 8.4 seconds. Better. But if you use the internal storage the boot time is only 4 seconds.... 8 gig is plenty of storage, but I still don't like waiting that extra 4 seconds.... Audio quality off the built in mics is surprisingly good as is using an even better external mic. I think you could get good enough podcast quality in mp3 128 stereo mode using an external mic. Which means you wouldn't need to go to a wireless mic solution for audio and these are super cheap to have multiple units recording, lets say two or three people with each person on their own recorder and mic wired up to them. The built in mics would not be quite good enough IMHO for a podcast, but you can get it out of an external mic. (see my hold notes below) Duping from a cell phone to the unit works and they have a mode for it. However if you have high quality coming out of your cellphone into this unit (music) its not very good once recorded. I'm speculating some sort of DRM or A/D converter issue. But if you had a conversation from a cassette tape to this, that works excellent. Battery life is excellent. Manual stinks. Lots of trial and error.. Here is a useful feature: If you start a recording and use the power off switch, thats also a hold feature, witch makes it so that you can't accidentally press any buttons and interfere with the recording. That's a great feature that isn't documented, but if you were putting this recorder on someone in their pocket with a mic, then you would do this so that it doesn't accidentally stop recording.

Recorder performs as needed. The battery life is long. I have used it for multiple days with no issues. Plenty of storage space for use.

j'en avais déjà une depuis plusieurs années , je suis très satisfaite , j'en voulais une autre au cas ou la première brise je l'ai échappe souvent par terre et elle n'a pas flanché mais au cas ou j'en ai acheté une autre
