I recently read a version of this comprehensive guide belonging to a friend and was thoroughly impressed, so I bought my own copy. The 6-week meal plan is user-friendly, featuring detailed shopping lists and diverse, delicious high-protein recipes suitable for muscle gain, weight loss, and general health. Ok let me tell you about this book... It has a 6 week meal plan of 30 recipes for lunch and dinner only that are bog standard, nothing worth writing home about and no breakfast or quick snack ideas. Recipes include beef burger and sweet potato wedges, chicken and veg stir fry, beef burrito bowl, smoked salmon and cottage cheese on rye bread, all simple every day lunch and dinners. Each recipe has the macros count which for some people is handy, meal prep times but if you think you're getting 3 bonuses they are online only, not physical bonuses. I understand the concept of meal prep but who wants to eat pork meat balls for lunch 2 days in a row as well as roast chicken and potatoes for dinner 3 days? Now I know obviously that we don't have to stick to this if we don't want but I thought it was going to be a meal/prep plan based on eating different each day because I know I certainly couldn't eat the same dinner 3 days in a row lol. If you scroll down on the ad for the book it shows several photos that includes smoothies but no recipes and no photos in the book even though 1 reviewer said it did (so which book did they get lol) and there are no high protein desserts in the book which is disappointing. It has info on calorie deficit, weight loss, muscle gain but when you check on line with the macro counter it gives you exactly what you need to know but no explanation for how to increase/decrease certain aspects like fats, carbs etc on line or in the book for weight loss, muscle gain for those like me who have no idea so personally I think it's going to be a case of hit and miss with the recipe balance. I had really high hopes after reading the reviews so went for it and i'm underwhelmed by it to be honest because you can find a much better book or find completely different ideas on line. I'll give 1 or 2 of the recipes a go at the weekend but I think I'll be in the kitchen all weekend probably a few of them and freezing them so I'm not eating the same dinner 3 days on trot haha

Recipes and meal prep plans disappointing
The information provided is useful if you have little knowledge about protien and macros, however for me I was looking for meal inspiration especially breakfast and I was disappointed π. Just wasn't exciting . The wrong book for me.
