I have tried SO many pillows which I end up throwing out or giving away. I'm mostly a side sleeper and hate pillows that my heads sinks into. I don't like my face being smothered. I also don't like pillows that feel like a brick. With this one, I'm able to lay my head on the end and have excellent support without getting a crick in my neck. Even in the middle of it I'm good. I can also lay on my back and get the support exactly where I like it- under my neck, not my head. I am less likely to wake up with a headache this way. Perfect size, perfect support.

Nice and firm with slight give. Does warm up, as memory foam tends to do. Believe it or not, it's actually too thick for my comfort. I had hoped it would be about 20% smaller in diameter.

This Ruizman memory foam neck pillow is a little firm for me for sleeping. It is the perfect height for me as a side sleeper, but it is much firmer than the large rectangular memory foam pillow I used to have (until I left it at a vacation rental). The case is soft, and the zipper works fine. The size is great, too, just perfect for travel.To my surprise, this pillow has another use that I really like. It can be used to support my hands and tablet when I am reading in bed. It works so well for this that I am no longer using the pillow or the tablet holder I used to use. I just prefer to hold the tablet, but I like the firm surface to support my wrists when I am holding the tablet.It also works great for when I want to lay flat but have my head elevated enough to watch TV or just talk to someone nearby who isn't laying down. It's firm enough that it holds my head at just the right angle.I like that it is cylindrical, which allows me to set it on the floor next to my bed and it just stands there in position for when I need it. It doesn't need to be leaned up against anything to stand up. I guess it's the little things.It comes compressed and gains its full size in just a few minutes.So, although it doesn't work perfectly for what I imagined I would use it for, I love it because of the other uses it has.

My chiropractor sells a similar pillow, so after looking it up, I thought I'd try this one. This neck roll pillow is quite firm, and the diameter is larger than expected, making it less relaxing to lay on. I was hoping for a softer pillow.However, this could be a good option if you prefer a firmer pillow. It’s definitely well made, and the cooling pillowcase is a nice touch, but it didn’t meet my comfort needs.

This pillow is VERY FIRM. Almost hard!

We don't use this as a neck pillow, but it's good for propping up your arm while laying in bed and looking at a phone, as well as for under the knees. When I had neck pain last month I did try it for my neck and I found it a little too big and had better relief with a heated rice sock pressing into the affected area, but I'm a woman with fairly petite stature so I'm sure this would be comfortable as a neck pillow for others. The pillowcase is soft and easily removable and washable. It's a good, firm pillow!

it arrives in a super deflated little 5x5 inch football looking thing... and as soon as you carefully open it... it kind of explodes!into a delightfully firming neck rolli let this sit overnight unused to just do it's thing get rid of shipping smells and had a nap on it this morning and it is SOOOO good!It is firm and comfy. Not so firm that it hurts, but supportive just high enough for me to get rid of the neck soreness and subsequent headache I had for two days and i think i may get rid of my other pillows and just use this one!

I’ve been having a lot of neck pain and stiffness. My chiropractor told me that I should get a round pillow to help support my neck. I decided to give this pillow a try. When I first laid on it and could position myself, I could tell that it alleviated some of the pressure and felt pretty good. The problem that I had is that it’s a bit too big around. If it were a smaller diameter, it would fit more comfortably and be more apt to stay in position. During the night, the pillow slides up under my head and does the exact opposite of what I need by pushing my neck into a tilted position. Even if I roll over, my neck is bent in an odd direction. It is a firm pillow which is great to hold a position but not optimal for me since I would need for it to be smaller, and it doesn’t sink down. This is still a good pillow for knees and legs but not so much for my neck. I do feel like this would be perfect if it were a bit smaller but it’s still pretty good for other uses besides my neck.
