My preschoolers are obsessed with these!
So we have a lot of conversations about feelings and emotions with my preschoolers in my program. I found these, and they are perfect for helping them understand feelings and emotions in a simple straightforward way. We have used the included book to read in one sitting to introduce all feelings in the book, or to focus out specific feelings they are working on understanding. The adorable emotions dolls provide the perfect tool to engage them and they have been having fun using the dolls to talk through classroom scenarios with peers. My little ones are literally obsessed with these.I really recommend this set if you are trying to teach preschool children or even children with autism about feelings and emotions. The book is easy for little ones to understand and the feelings dolls are easy to relate to, and the materials help empower them to take ownership over feelings and emotions. I recommend getting 3 sets, one to teach students with, and two so friends can share them in your Cozy Corner or Dramatic Play (puppet) stage space. My little ones really love these and are always creating their own stories and scenarios with the emotions dolls that are very on point. I definitely recommend these for therapists, specialists, teachers, and social workers since they are easy for little ones to understand and relate to.We love them in our classroom, and think you will love them too!

Very Cute
Got this to play and read with my baby granddaughter, and so happy I did. The book and toy combo is really well done and very cute. We’ve enjoyed reading through the story and having tangible characters to act out when we her little imagination takes us.

Much Bigger Dolls & Book Than Expected
My family homeschools, so I am always looking for educational toys, games and activities. This is a great set for helping teach younger children about emotions. The book is a simple story that goes through several of the basic emotions that people feel. You could use this as a starting point to talk about more complicated emotions. There is more info in addition to the story at the beginning and end of the book to help with expanding on learning about emotions. My daughter was creating little scenarios with the emotion dolls after we read the book and discussed feelings. It is so helpful for children to recognize how they are feeling, because it can strengthen their emotional health. It's also helpful for them to recognize the emotions that others may be feeling to strengthen their ability to form healthy relationships. The dolls and book are really nice quality. The emotions line up with the colors we often associate with these emotions (happiness- yellow, anger- red). The book and dolls are all a lot bigger than I expected. Their presentation in their box is also really good, and I think this would be a really nice gift for a teacher, a child counselor, a parent with young children or a child.I look at reviews a lot while shopping. I hope this review helps!

Excellent set of books and bean bag like plushes to talk about basic feelings
My wife and I are big fans of the hand2mind brand, ever since we got to know them because of the Numberblocks toys that they make (our 4-year-old is a huge fan of the show). Their toys have always been thoughtful and of good quality, and we were lucky enough to try even a couple of their board games through the Vine program, which our son has enjoyed playing with us. So, when we saw this product pop up, we jumped at the chance to give it a try.Through a few uses, we have been very happy with the set so far. The book is well-written, and the plushes are made with something like bean bag fillers, making them soft and easy on the hands of the kids. The expressions are straightforwardly made, with the "scared" and "surprised" probably being the two that is not the clearest in terms of the distinction. 4 out of the 5 ("suprised" vs. "disgust" is the only difference; rest have counterparts) also overlap with the feelings in the Inside Out movie, which we have seen together, so we were able to link the two together in some ways as we talked through the feelings with the help of the included book.Overall, we would recommend this product!

Great way to talk about emotions
I ordered this 'Feelings Family' storybook and plush set for my 2 children. I love the parent guide at the beginning of the book to help me make the most out of this story time. There are also "Talk About It" questions at the back of the book to prompt discussions with older children as well as tips for what to do when you are feeling each emotion discussed in the book. Emotions discussed in the book include: happy, angry, sad, scared, and surprised. Each emotion is depicted as a little plushy. Each plushy measures between 5 1/2 to 6 inches tall. They are weighted on the bottom so they sit up nicely. Overall, they seem well crafted and look just like the drawings in the story. The story is well written and thoughtfully illustrated. A little long for my 2 1/2 year old but perfect for my 4 year old. The book has a hard cover so hopefully it will hold up well over time. As a whole, this is a cute set and a great hands-on way to talk about emotions with young children.
