Would it work on a silk wedding dress?

Can this be used on an article of clothing that is wet from the washer?

I don’t see why not. It doesn’t stain when dry so I don’t think it will stain if wet. Great product. Really removes stains.

What is the purpose of the bag that one reviewer said is included with this purchase?

No bag with mine - just the stain stick.

I have several hand wash only embellished dresses that have tanner lotion on them will this stick work on these stains???

I used it on a wool sweater and it worked fine. It says "helps remove fresh stains and is safe on dry-clean only, delicates, hand-washables, wools, silks, rayons, linens, cotton, and other special care fabrics." So i think it should work for you.
