Worked out perfectly for pretty packaging

I bought this to put around my flowers in my flower pots outside. It stops chipmunks from digging in my flowerpots. It looks pretty too. So for me, it’s a win win!

Is it as described? yesDoes it work as advertised? yesQuality? VERY goodDo I actually use it? Used it for making fruit fly cultures. The last stuff I got was stringier and full of debris.Would I order it again or recommend it to someone else? This is a tough one for me because the quality is definitely there but it is much much more expensive for the volume. Up to you on whether you want to spend more for quality. The old stuff works fine, this stuff just looks nicer.

I have purchased this twice already will purchase more in future.

The stars reflect my inability to use the product for what I needed it for (Fruit Fly Cultures) due to the fact that it crumbles easily into smaller pieces that do not remain firm and are not long stranded. Due to this it is 100% not usable for fruit fly cultures.However, the seller is a wonderful communicator who demonstrated a willingness to understand and learn about the type of excelsior needed for fruit fly cultures. I'm impressed with how he handled and understood my concerns and immediately offered a refund. We need more businesses like this, who care about a customers needs and not the bottom line. Dean was a pleasure to deal with.

This product makes a nice filler for packing, especially for gift baskets where it's part of the presentation, or handmade crafts that benefit from a natural or rustic accent. It is essentially very thin, thread-like shavings of wood, so it is a little more fragile and a little less springy than some other artificial packing products, but the overall effect is worth it.

This Aspen wood if great filler for gift wrapping/packaging. It is very light weight and a little makes a nice difference! Will get again!

This is a premium filler for nicer gift baskets. It fluffs up nicely and holds its shape reasonably well. I wish a bit more was included for the price since it's priced as a premium filler. There's enough included for one large basket, or two smaller ones if carefully placed. This filler definitely makes more of a statement than the typical shredded paper, or crumpled tissue.You get what you pay for, and if the gift is expensive, don't skimp on the underfill.
