A very nice looking resin violin with a faux burled wood body.Sad to see it returned.

This is actually a really good buy for the money. Incredibly easy to tune and way easier than a traditional style violin. It is relatively silent when not plugged into an amp, however you can play it plugged into headphones for private practice or a regular amp depending on your needs and neighbors. Absolutely all electric (not electro acoustic) instruments are very quiet when played unplugged. This violin is lightweight and we have had no issues with either the shoulder nor the chin rest coming off. The bow works fine for the violin. The case is good, and the extra strings are great to have around. You can use the headphones it comes with until you buy an amp. All in all, it is a great electric violin set, especially for people who are just getting started. We are currently considering buying a second one for another member of our family.

This frame of a violin is difficult to hold especially since the chest rest keeps falling off.Must be played with an amplifier or you don’t hear a sound.Very short return window from the seller.Spend a little more and get a real violin. You are not saving any money buying this thing

The microphone had an unbearable noise, perhaps it was a defect of this unit. I returned the violin.
