This is my second cutter and the first one has nothing compared to this. It came with instructions on how to accurately cut your paper and there's also a sizing bit on it. I make mugs and the previous one i own didn't cut straight and it cut through the design. Now i can accurately cut paper that won't cut the design as well.Feels good quality, sharp blades and is good value for money.

It’s not the sturdiest trimmer I’ve ever used but it coped well with all the trimming jobs I’ve used it for as yet, on paper, thin card and vellum paper so far. It claims to be able to cut up to 8 sheets of paper at once - I never tested more than 4 or 5 so I can’t dispute that. The cuts are clean enough with no annoying jagged edges.I’m a fan of the safety design, where the blade only works when pressed, so there’s no risk of accidents, and the swing-out ruler arm is also a nice touch, allowing me to measure and cut larger pieces easily. However, I'm not convinced the blade is up to much intensive work and the whole unit does seem a little flimsy in comparison to other paper trimmers I’ve used over the years, but I guess you get what you pay for and for something with a low overall price tag it did do its intended job efficiently.

This is an extremely good and easy-to-use paper trimmer, the blade is sharp and easily slices through paper and card and the swing-out leveling arm allows for accurate cuttings. Having 2 young kids at home, they often make paper crafts at home which keeps them busy and this has come in very handy. The blade is slightly lifted from the plastic ruler and only protrudes out when pressed which makes it safe for kids to use.It's a decent-sized paper trimmer with a total length of 31 cm, the pull-out arm provides an additional 34 cm in width. The blades slide smoothly across the trimmer and the ruler can be lifted to adjust paper. The self-levelling arm also helps to cut paper accurately and provides a point to press against when making cuttings. Shapes are more easy to cut thanks to the grid on the base which provides precise measurements.The trimmer comes with easy-to-follow instructions and has been a tremendous convenience. It's so much easier to use than scissors and far more accurate and has made making paper crafts and just generally cuttings far more easier.

Easy if for little things but not for everyday craft on mass amount

This paper cutter is ideal for handling paper up to A4 size, effortlessly slicing through both paper and thin card. It accommodates the full width of A4 in landscape orientation and features a plastic guide ruler along the top edge that accurately indicates the length of your cut. The design requires you to press down and slide to cut, with the blade being activated by the downward pressure. This feature is particularly useful for making precise cuts in the middle of a sheet while keeping the edges of the page intact.The cutter includes an adjustable arm at the bottom, allowing you to set the paper at various angles for angled cuts. The ruled guides on the surface help ensure your cuts are precise and at the angle you want.Overall I found this to be a great little cutter that allowed me to make perfect straight incisions for my craft projects. However, it does struggle with thicker materials like cardboard, so it's best to avoid using it for those.

The media could not be loaded. This is a decent quality trimmer which is useful for various types of art and crafts purposes. It is plastic but reasonably sturdy and has the usual measurements and angles printed on it. It has an extending arm which allows for the use of larger sheets of paper and can also be angled to hold paper for varying angles of cuts.I have dexterity issues but found the blade piece really easy to use. Just insert the paper under the clear guide strip , press firmly on the orange cutter top and slide it down the guide track. I find it cuts cleanly with no burrs or ragged edges.I like that when not in use, the blade is retracted within the cutter for safety. But as with all cutting instruments, if children are using this trimmer they should always be supervised. The trimmer has two cutters so it should be a little while before you need to change the blades but that will depend on what you are trimming and how often you use it. It's very easy to remove the cutter, just move it to the midpoint of the clear guide, pull the guide apart gently and lift out the cutter.I had been needing a new trimmer to trim artwork, photos and prints for my own use and this meets my needs well.

I was very impressed with this paper cutter. It is very light and sturdy and the scale engraving on the panel is very clear and standard. Although the moving blade is smooth and sharp, you still need to slide down to cut, which is a great safety design. I used six sheets of paper as a test, and it can obviously cut a few more. It was priced at £10.99 at the time of review and I think it is worth buying.

Amazon Vine offered me this Jielisi Paper Cutter (listed price: €12.99) to test. I am a paper artist and love trying out different accessories for my art projects. This paper cutter is a big help for chopping papers of different weights. I tested this cutter on cardstock (200gsm), craft/scrapbook paper (120gsm), and regular printer paper (90gsm).The cutter is as described. Good for chopping A4, 30x30 cm, and smaller paper sizes. There are two sharp blades, and the sliding side ruler is useful when cutting along the breadth of an A4 sheet / square sheet of paper. It is straightforward to use. The cutter is light-weight and can be portable if needed, unlike the heavy, guillotine-style cutters.The blade remains secured unless you push it down, out of its casing. This makes it safe to use, even for kids. You can replace the blades when needed, though I they don't seem to sell replacement blades.Overall, a decent paper cutter at an affordable price. Um schnell mal einen geraden Schnitt zu machen, ein rechtwinkliges Blatt zuzuschneiden oder auch max. 8 à 80g/qm, ist der handliche Papierschneider gut geeignet. Weitere Winkelschnitte sind in den Schritten 45°, 60° und 75° möglich.Zum rechtwinkligen Ausrichten sollte man sich jedoch nicht am ausklappbaren 'Ausleger' orientieren, da dieser keinen 90° Winkel erzeugt, legt man das Papier an der Kante an (vgl. Bild 2). Die beiden festen Kanten sind hingegen rechtwinklig zum Aufdruck (vgl. Bild 1). Der Schneider kippelt auf einer planen Fläche, was bei neun Auflagepunkten kein Wunder ist, und das Kunststoff-Material ist bei Aufwendung größeren Drucks sicherlich auch nicht dauerhaft resistent gegen Ermüdungsbrüche. Hilfreich hätte ich überdies einen Hinweis auf den Bezug von Ersatzklingen erachtet. Da es unterschiedliche Typen gibt, wäre ein Link, eine Angabe, worauf zu achten ist, wichtig.Ein hilfreiches Produkt zum Preis von rund 16€ zum Zeitpunkt meiner Bestellung (08/2024) für gelegentliche, kleine Projekte. Wer einen Papierschneider häufig benötigt oder professionelle Ansprüche hat, muss tiefer ins Portemonnaie greifen, auch wenn in der Info vollmundig von einem 'Profi-Gerät' gesprochen wird.

Der Papierschneider wirkt auf den ersten Blick erst einmal sehr billig verarbeitet. Meiner hatte auch einen leichten Kratzer, aber das tut der Funktion ja keinen Abbruch. Ich bin Produkt- und Grafikdesignerin und auch leidenschaftliche Hobbybastlerin und verfüge demnach über einiges an Erfahrung mit verschiedenen Papierschneidegeräten, über Welche für den Hausgebrauch bis hin zu Profigeräten. Dieses hier ist ganz hervorragend für den Hobbybastler geeignet – sicher nicht für Profis.Die Messer sind scharf genug für klare Schnitte. Man kann das Papier sehr genau ausrichten. An der Stelle wo die Messer längs laufen ist auf der schwarzen Kunststoffbasis eine Rille, zum einen damit das Messer Platz hat, zum Anderen kann man an der Linie aber auch das Papier super ausrichten. Auch das Raster und die Winkelmarkierungen auf der schwarzen Kunststoffbasis helfen sehr gut. Toll ist auch das ausklappbare Seitenlineal. Wenn man größere Blätter hat, hat man eine größere Kante zum Anlegen, damit man wirklich rechtwinklig schneiden kann.8 Blatt normales Kopierpapier waren gar kein Problem, allerdings hatte die unterste Seite ganz leichte Ausfransungen.Bei einem Blatt ist der Schnitt sauber, aber wenn man zum Beispiel mehrere Schnitte an einem Blatt macht, sollte man darauf achten, dass die Unterseite des Blattes auch wirklich immer unten liegt. Das Blatt „biegt“ sich da der Schnittkante ganz leicht nach unten (man muss den Schnitt schon genau prüfen um dies zu sehen), aber die Schnittkante ist nicht so, wie z. B. bei einem frischen Blatt Kopierpapier, welches im Stapel von Profigeräten geschnitten wurde.Aber hierfür ist dieses Gerät ja auch nicht konzipiert und ein Profigerät kostet sicher auch nicht nur 16 € (Preis zum Zeitpunkt meiner Bestellung).Der Papierschneider ist sehr flach und leicht. Da sollte sich in jedem Haushalt ein Plätzchen finden lassen.Für den Preis echt eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Verdiente 5 Sterne im Hinblick auf das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wer Perfektion erwartet, muss halt auch tiefer ins Portemonnaie greifen.

Dieser Papierschneider schafft es saubere und gerade Schnitte mühelos durchzuführen. In der Vergangenheit habe ich immer mit einer Schere oder Cuttermesser hantiert. Meist waren die Ergebnisse dann eher so mittelmässig gerade. Das zu schneidende Papier wird hier eingelegt und kann anhand der Lineale auch gut ausgerichtet werden. Es ist auch eine Winkelskala aufgedruckt, was auch komplexere Schnitte vereinfacht. Durch leichten Druck auf das transpartente Lineal mit der Klingenführung verrutscht auch beim Schneiden nichts. Die Klinge wird erst sichtbar, wenn man sie mit der Führung etwas nach unten drückt, somit besteht keine Verletzungsgefahr, wenn der Papierschneider auf dem Arbeitstisch steht. Preis ist unschlagbar und sehr fair.
