I'm very satisfied with the Aosu Wireless Doorbell Camera. The picture quality is impressively clear, and the wide-angle view lets me see everything happening at my door. The night vision is super clear also. One of my favorite features is that there's no need to pay for a monthly subscription - you can just use an SD card to store your recordings. The battery life is also great; it lasts a long time between charges. Overall, it's a reliable and user-friendly doorbell camera that gives you peace of mind without any hidden costs. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was new to video doorbells, so I reviewed lots of video doorbell products online and bought another brand for my alley entrance to my condo. After a few weeks, I decided I wanted another for my front door but wanted to try a different brand and chose Aosu. I’m so glad I did!The Aosu is better in several ways: the picture is clear and gives me a wider view. I did not want to hard wire anydoorbells, so I chose models with a rechargeable battery, and the charge on this product’s battery lasts three times longer than the one I have at my alley entrance. Additionally, this model can use an SD card to record videos which means I don’t need to sign up for an icloud service. Lastly, the app is easy to install and has many helpful features. I plan on replacing the first video doorbell I bought with another Aosu, similar to this one soon. I’m very happy with the quality for the price I paid! . Highly recommend! I bought the AOSU after getting the WYZE and Blink doorbell coz I wanted the SD card option, no subscription. The wyze was bulky and did not allow me to separate the alarms from the other wyze cameras, the Blink was ok but had a very limited field of vision. The AOSU has a wide angle camera that allows me to see my porch ground to ceiling, very nice. The pic is sharp and bright. The alerts(little slower than blink) and time to live is quite fast. I think this one is a keeper. I am not sure how long the battery is going to last but with the chime it works really well. I am giving it 4 stars for the reason it does not have wired option(wyze has it) and also no included angle wedge to mount it. For the quality and speed I like it so far.Update on battery life: full charge lasts about 60 days. I recharged mine after about 40 days when it showed 50%

It knows what’s important – people and packages.The video quality is super clear, both during the day and night. It captures every little detail. And I love that you can talk to whoever is at the door through the app — it’s really convenient when I’m not home or just upstairs and don’t feel like going down. Plus, the included chime (which I keep in my living room) is loud enough that I can hear it from anywhere in the house.It was also so easy to set up, totally waterproof, and it looks really nice too. I also love that there’s no monthly subscription or extra fees — once you buy it, you’re good. This is an excellent product and a good value to boot! It arrived within hours of ordering with a partial charge and reached a 100% charge within an hour right out of the box. Installation was simple with the step by step set up in the app — which is well designed and user friendly. Video quality is excellent with crisp HD detail. I set the motion detection to less than medium, and haven’t had a single unwanted notification so far. After a couple of days playing with it and fine tuning the settings the battery is still at 100%. That it operates with an SD card for video recording (not included) and not dependent on a monthly monitoring subscription is a huge plus! You can spend a lot more for a comparable unit and not do much better. Highly recommend this product.

I guess I didn’t research enough. I was going to buy a product I had used previously because it was very easy to use and the sound in the picture quality was great. But the reason I didn’t buy it was because it would only work with cloud service. So with the AOSU after I’ve thrown the box away, I discovered that it will work with a cloud service or a chip. So I thought what the heck I went and bought a chip and put in it and I’ve got it attached and up and working, but it just seems very slow . For instance when I go out to check my mail, etc. it doesn’t seem to give normal motion. It’s like everything is delayed a second or two. So I’m assuming maybe it works more normally with the cloud. I had a package delivered last week and before it showed up on my phone, the delivery personwas already leaving. I would expect that I would get faster notification such as when the delivery person is approaching. All in all I guess it will work OK for what I need. I was just expecting better than I got. The picture is clear. I haven’t heard a sound quality yet. It catches large vehicles that go down my street. But the video cut off at the edge of my steps and doesn’t start until later. So if someone was approaching from the street I wouldn’t see them or know about them until they actually reached my door and or I played back my video.
