Great quality but hard to assemble
Quality of the chair is pretty good and its pretty sturdy and comfortable (hence the 5 stars) But assembling it was a major pain. The chair comes with locking nuts and tightening those were extremely hard. Tried using the supplied hand tools but was getting nowhere, so hopefully if you are buying this product, you have a drill and nut driver on-hand because you will most certainly need them.

Solid stool with adjustable height seat.
Very solid and stable stool - holds my 270-lbs without issue. Padded seat spins easily - even when sitting on it. Comfortable enough for long projects. The back bar makes for a convenient carry handle to grab and move stool around as needed. Convenient and quick seat height adjustment via lever under the seat. Fairly easy to assemble with exception of screwing on the seat - with will require some extra work to get it to line up properly for all the screws (but do-able). Has a little weight to it, but easy to move around as needed. Easily wipes clean.

Solid, but tricky to assemble for non-mechanics
This was a gift for my dad. He likes it, so hooray. My only regret is not choosing a model with a higher back rest for greater comfort when he wants a little break. But the low back rest seemed more practical and nimble for working situations. The assembly instructions are clear, even for an office worker like me, but you need strong hands or special tools to hold the parts together during assemble. It's not easy if you're more used to typing than handling heavy tools. I had to pound one of the parts in place with a towel-covered hammer, which was nerve-wracking. I don't know if that was a manufacturer's flaw or a normal little difference that wouldn't matter to someone with powerful hands. However, once I got all the nuts and blots in place, this stool turned out very study and the moving parts glide along well. Value for money: It's much more solid than comparably priced office stools. If you don't mind words in your furniture it's a good deal.

Good and bad.
The unit seems to be as advertised. Very solid base and held my 260lbs easily. But. The bolts are harder to get through the holes than one would think. You have to wiggle the legs and really squeeze them to get the bolts through. This is true for all the bolts. I even tried to even the holes with a tapered punch. Not much help. The wrenches supplied are junk. If you have a metric set, have it handy. A 14mm fits the head of the bolt but I think the nut is 13mm. I didn't have a 13 and a 12 was to small to fit the nut. The supplied wrenches are very short and hard to hold on to. Dropped numerous times. Attaching the seat back. I could find no holes in the seat base. I even tried to use a magnet to find the tee-nuts without any luck. After about 20 minutes, my wife came in to investigate the noises!!!!! She looked for about another 10. I finally gave up. I need the chair so will not send it back. It's better with no back than no chair. Maybe I'll simply put in an expansion nut in later and have the seat back.

Nice little chair
Decent little chair and works well after you get past the assembly due to poor quality control.

Freeky-Fit Adjustable Height Swivel Garage Stool – Sturdy Build, Ruined by Poor QC
I had high hopes for the Freeky-Fit Adjustable Height Swivel Garage Stool—it looked comfortable, the metal construction seemed solid, & the adjustable height/swivel features made it a promising addition to my workspace. Unfortunately, poor quality control & misleading assembly instructions turned what could’ve been a great product into a frustrating experience. The metal components of the stool are sturdy & well-built. The frame feels strong, the welds are solid, & the overall construction suggests it could handle the weight & stress of a garage environment. The padded seat, which should be one of the most important parts of the stool, was missing two critical threaded inserts. These are the parts that allow you to attach the backrest, & their absence made it impossible to complete assembly. Worse, this isn’t something you discover until the final step, meaning you’ve already put the entire stool together before realizing it has a major defect. Since this isn’t called out as a part to check in the instructions, you only find out after 98% of the work is done—at which point you have to take the whole thing apart just to return it. If the missing inserts weren’t frustrating enough, the assembly process itself was riddled with issues due to inaccurate part labeling & cheap tools. The large bolts are listed as M8, but in reality, they require an M13 socket for the bolt & an M12 socket for the nut. This means you need two different socket wrenches. The provided stamped wrenches are so poorly made that they slip under pressure, guaranteeing banged-up knuckles if you try to use them. The small bolts are labeled as M6, but they are actually M10 for both the bolt & nut, requiring two M10 sockets or wrenches—which, again, aren’t called out correctly in the manual. These mistakes add unnecessary hassle to what should be a straightforward assembly process. If you’re not paying close attention, you’ll likely assume you’re using the wrong tools, only to realize the instructions themselves are just wrong. The Freeky-Fit Adjustable Height Swivel Garage Stool had potential. The metal frame is well-made, & if all the parts were correctly manufactured, it would likely be a solid & comfortable addition to any workspace. However, the lack of quality control, misleading assembly instructions, & frustrating missing parts make it a hard pass. This stool embodies the worst of “Chinesium” manufacturing—good on paper, solid in some areas, but absolutely ruined by cut corners in quality control & lazy documentation. If you get lucky & receive a unit with all the correct parts, it might be great. But given my experience, I wouldn’t take that gamble again. 2/5 stars.
