It’s a beautiful light and looks great on the ceiling. I’m glad it is dimmable because I like the lowest setting. I’m happy with the remote because it can be turned off from bed. The only downside is the faint green light even when the device is off. Brought it for a Christmas game but thankfully I chose something I would like, glad I got it!

The product I received would not turn on unless it was connected to a USB (it would not hold a charge). The charging port broke about the 3rd or 4th time I tried to insert the cord. The light provided by the product was beautiful but could not be used. I threw it in the trash.

This light does not contain a battery and needs to be plugged in to operate. When it is plugged in, there's a green light that is illuminated (second picture). That isn't a great feature of this light, since every single color setting will have a little green in it...The included remote is pretty basic, color choices and the normal color changing modes. With this type of light, the light usually rotates to create the wave-like movement. However, this light does not rotate so it just creates a static light effect, which isn't really the purpose of an ocean/wave light.The light is bright and creates a neat pattern on the ceiling and walls, but this light is missing some key features of an ocean/wave light.

I’m a fan of any sort of ambiance lighting and effects, so when I first saw these water effect lamps I was intrigued, and decided to pick one up. The lamp itself is all plastic and pretty basic- but it looks nice. The remote is basically the same remote I’ve gotten with other LED-based novelty lights. It turns the light on/off, controls brightness, and all the color options as well as color transitions. Overall the water effect is pretty cool. For the best effect the room needs to be sort of dark and if you have high ceilings the effect will be diminished a bit. The USB cord it comes with is a bit short- it’s 3 feet. I think for this type of application a 6 foot would’ve been a better choice. The light source is dimmable via the remote, but you’ll probably leave it on the brightest setting. This could just be preference, but one thing for me is the light can be distracting if it is in your line of sight. So strategic placement to maximize the ripple effect on the ceiling/walls without having the light “visible” can be challenging. All in all I think this is a fun effect and a cool item to have if you are a fan of different sorts of ambient lighting.

I think the description was a bit misleading because this thing has to be plugged in all the time to work. I thought it would going to be rechargable, so I can't really use it for what I intended. However if that doesnt bother you the colors are pretty and the projection is nice

I received this light a day ago. I absolutely loved the way the light reflected and lit up the room. However, I went to unplug it and the entire port in the light came out. It’s definitely cheaply made and not worth the money.
