Despite the picture and the description - these are ***NOT*** box jointed.
I just bought these becasue I specifically want box jointed. That is not what arrived. Despite Lindstrom's claims to the contrary, box jointed are far tougher, more robust and longer-lasting than lap jointed.The description of this item is out of date, and needs correcting and updating.

Nice cutters but looks like the bean counters are ruling
Goiod quality cutters as you'd expect from Lindstrom, but I never noticed these weren't box joint any more. Expensive for lap joint cutters.

Not worth £5, let alone £40.
Very poor qualty, jaws different widths and misaligned. I've got £5 pliers more accurate than these. Returned.

The only chain nose you will ever need.
The length, weight and accuracy, can't be beat. I've tried longer pliers, shorter pliers. These get into the nooks and crannies. The arm is long enough to do the job yet short enough to use comfortably. Excellent product. Well worth the money.

My father bought me the other tools in the set for Christmas and I loved them so much I needed to get these to complete my set. Very comfortable to use and they spring back like a charm, not more fiddling to get them open and close, they are very smooth to use.
