This sand art is eye-catching and asks to be touched. The round glass panes hold liquid and sand and they switch places like an hourglass. There is a mount directly on the center in the back and the art cleverly mounts to a wall so it can be spun. It comes with some pads to protect the wall. It came with a small syringe tool to adjust the air amount in the device, but I haven't had to do that yet.The art gets a lot of attention and visitors like spinning it and watching the sand fall.

As you can see in my photos, I got the “blue” one that shows Earth from space. Pretty cool to look at, no doubt about that, however the image of Earth in the background is not like the one in the advertised photo. They show half the planet with a gleaming sun just behind it, I got a centered planet with sunlight reflecting off of one side of it. Not a huge deal, just thought it was worth pointing out.What is a bit more misleading, however, are all the photoshopped photos they’re using to show what it looks like in a room. No matter which size you select, it shows this massive thing that takes up loads of wall space. The choices are only 11.4” (which I got) 17.3”, and 24”. Fair warning, none of these will appear that big on a wall behind your sofa. The biggest one is only just over twice the size of mine, and as you can see, mine fits with plenty of room to spare within the confines of the wall space behind my computer desk between the desk and shelves. The 24” model would only be just barely too big to fit in this same space.I knew what I was getting into and had this space in mind when I selected it, but not everyone is so good with measurements and rely heavily on the photos to give them an idea of what they are buying, and using the same photos for every size selected is very misleading, especially when you dramatized the size even for the largest one available. For the 24” figure it’ll be about the size as the one you see in the “blue” photo demonstrating the 360° rotation. Perhaps even a smidge smaller.In conclusion, still a very nice piece. Every time I walk in this room and see it on the wall with my desk, it makes my heart smile, it looks very nice. Just be sure to check the measurements and not the photos.

I have the 11 one, I included a picture for size reference. This is very cool to look at and very relaxing. I found it easy to install. If you are using the wall anchors, I used a 1/4 drill bit to get the holes. They did not say what size to use in the directions, which is annoying. I love that I can turn it and change the picture throughout my day. I got this installed in less than ten minutes, you will need a drill, a hammer (to tap in anchors), and a screwdriver.
