Calphalon® Ceramic Nonstick 8" and 10" Frying Pan Set, Silver Ash

I don’t know what kind of sorcery Calphalon baked into these ceramic nonstick pans, but the first morning I used them, I swear I woke up feeling like a Michelin‑star chef who had been touched by a dream. The moment the pan warmed, it was like the kitchen lights dimmed, a spotlight hit the stove, and a gentle voice whispered, “Chef, you may begin.” I cracked an egg, and instead of the usual chaos, it glided into the pan like a ballerina landing a perfect pirouette. No sticking. No tearing. No sadness. Just pure, golden perfection. Cooking in these pans feels unreal — like the food wants to cooperate. Vegetables sauté themselves. Chicken browns with the confidence of a dish that knows it’s about to be photographed. Even flipping a pancake becomes a spiritual experience. I caught myself plating breakfast with tweezers. My wife asked what happened to me. I told her the pans changed me. The ceramic surface is so smooth it feels like cooking on a dream. Cleanup? A single wipe and it’s as if the pan says, “Chef, rest. I’ll take it from here.” The 8” pan is perfect for delicate, intimate creations — eggs, mushrooms, a single dramatic pancake. The 10” pan? That’s your main stage. Stir‑fries, seared salmon, heroic breakfasts that make you question why you ever ate cereal. These pans didn’t just upgrade my kitchen. They upgraded my identity. I gave these as a gift. So far the person receiving them says they are great. Making omelets is the goal for the 10" pan as it has an excellent edge for flipping and folding with the swish of the wrist. They never stick and clean up is easy.

We love these pans. No chemicals like with Teflon and just as nonstick. Plus oven safe. Definitely worth every penny, even after months of use. They have held up well so far.

For the most part these have been great, occasionally something will stick but for the most part it doesn’t and even when it does stick it comes off easily when washing.

I bought these pans in August 2025. When first using them I was very pleased with their non-stick properties and how easily cooked items released from the pan. About 2 months ago the 8" pan began to stick leaving a hardened black/brown mess after each use. Cleaning the pan became a chore having to soak in hot water and Dawn for hours before the stain would come clean. And then only after scrubbing with a soft sponge. The warranty is 10 years on the pans but does not include non sticking after use. How do you know if food is going to stick until you use it?? I am very careful when using non-stick pans-cleaning them as soon as used, no harsh cleaning agents, never placing them in a high temperature oven, and storing them with pads. I am very unsatisfied and will need to toss the pans in the trash after only 4 months use. I highly do not recommend buying these pans due to the short time span of non-stick and a useless warranty.
