Strongest connection I have ever had. CAT 6
These are great CAT 6 connectors. First thing to know is they are not pass through connectors. This means they need to be cut accurately. They need to be cut straight across while having a slight fan shape. They need to be cut at the right length to have the wire sleeve under the rear crimp and all the wires right in the end of the tubes, no gaps. This means there is a bit of a trial and error process till you can get every wire snugly in the end of their tubes before crimping. I did not realize this about these when I got them but gave it a try anyway. Once I got good at it, the final product is excellent. Super-duper sturdy connections. Rock solid. Even after a cable being almost ripped out of the plug they hold fast. Unlike the two peice and pass through connectors I have used before which feel flimsy in comparison. They also crimp 100% on the first squeeze no need to repeat like the looser feeling connectors. I highly recommend. I even make high quality cables for my friends and co-workers at custom lengths for gifts using these connectors. Make sure you have a good pair of end snips to nail the length cut and you will love these.

Just what I ordered
Am making up a connection on my star link to go through the wall in my RV

Use with 24AWG gauge wires not recommended for 23AWG
May work for Cat 6(a) but difficult for Cat6 STP 23AWG cable. The channels for the 4 pair wires are too small. After an afternoon could only get one to fully insert. Unclear how/where to attach the grounding wire.

Great Rj45 connectors.
They are very high quality, easy to install on cat6 cable if you've had some practice. Will purchase again if I ever run out of these.

Not Recommended for Cat5e - Zero Network Connections
I attempted these multiple times on Cat5e cables, but there is a problem with them that is impossible to find, and impossible to fix. Once attached to the cables, I checked continuity with a Fluke DMM and saw that the pins were making good contact with the cable. But connect the finished product to an actual network port and they just don't work. I'm using a Klein VDV226 for the crimping, etc. I've repaired dozens of network cables with other brands (with no problems) so I'll just go back to using the all plastic ends and get on with my work. This bag is headed for the trash.

High quality shielded crimp connectors
I've gone through about half the bag of these connectors so far and each one has crimped perfectly. Absolutely no issues at all.

I found something that works.
I tried the other product and wasted so much time and lost confidence and starting to doubt myself having the ability to crimp the cable until I got this one. After I ensure all the colors go into the right positions and it takes good eyes, the contact of this connect actually makes a definite click and voila, it works all the time for me now. I have done about 4 times and every time it works. Just be sure you get the colors right and spend time straightening the cables.

Absolutely Boss for Shielded Cat 6A Cable
I've made Hundreds of Cat 6 and Cat 6A Plug Terminations. These are the among the best if not the best i've ever used. For 6A they are indespensable, have complete confidence in a finished cable that tests Sheilded every time.Roll the drain wire into a spring shape make sure to get it well placed under metal shield and crimp.Forget the rest on 6A, this is the ticket.

Great Price - Great Product
To be honest I didn't need shielded cable or connectors as I'm running this in my house and frankly, I don't have a high voltage 2.2MW generator in my garden. The EMF likely to be encountered is so low as to be non existent in a house. To be honest even on HV diesel-electric offshore construction ships that could power a large town or small city we don't normally bother with the high end stuff unless on critical control systems. However, given that it's a small fractional difference in price to buy shielded Cat6 and connectors and the job of running the stuff is the same, it makes sense to buy better. So I did.First off, fitting Cat5/6/7/8 connectors is easy - once you have had a bit of practice. I've made loads of them for myself and when working offshore and have my own technique that seems to ensure that the vast amount of connectors I make work. I get the odd duff one but that's to be expected and the way forward is to simply cut it off, forget about it and make another end. These connectors - despite the very reasonable price - are well made, work as well as any other I've come across and have no more failures in termination than I make on average. Any bad connections are entirely down to my own ineptitude not the connector.I used this with Cat6 shielded which, is fine and then some for a house. Cat7 isn't a standard and means nothing and Cat8 which, is IEEE rated is not needed in a house so not worth the extra expense.Overall, a very good and very well priced set of connectors.

Pas pour du CAT6 23AWG
Les fils des câbles de CAT6 FTP arrivent très difficilement à rentrer dans le connecteur. Fonctionne par contre sans problème pour du 5e.

Excellent - and easy to crimp
I have been struggling to crimp some cheap plastic RJ45 connectors, so tried these. They are excellent - the 8 ethernet cable wires slide easily into place, making crimping easy. So far have crimped 5 and all worked perfectly.

Seem well made, but a bit tough to crimp and not Pass Through.
Its Ok for what it is, But not as described. These are not pass through, Despite the description saying so. It is very hard to crimp, it seems to struggle with solid core cat6. Maybe it was a dud, so I cut it off and tried another. Same thing again. Other then that, it seems to do the job.Just wish it was pass through as described, but for the price, they seem very well made.

Worked first time
Had issues with crimping CAT6 cable and other RJ45 connectors. Bought these and first crimp worked perfectly. I'll stick to buying these in future rather than wasting hours cutting and crimping lower quality RJ45 connectors
