Not the right size.
The size was a little too small but I used them all with no problems.

Not big enough for a small kitchen waste food caddy.
Our District Council has just introduced a food waste collection and I thought these bags would be ideal for the small kitchen caddy they provided. This is a small cube in shape about 16cm x 16cm x 16cm. These bags are described as 3 Litres and I guess the caddy must be over 4L. The bags are very stretchy and can be fitted over the rim but it is tight and they can tear when stretched. I think the bags are more suited to collecting dog poo but better options are available for that task.

Be aware these are TINY!
I bought these for our internal veg scrap bin and they are SO small. They are very fragile and rip easily, but now I've got used to using them, I can stretch them a bit without ripping. I won't purchase again because they're way too small.

These little biodgradable bags are just what they say they are.
These bags are designed for lining food waste caddies and are ideal for this purpose.I use them chiefly as bathroom rubbish bags. We are not supposed to flush wet wipes etc down the toilet and so they must be disposed of somehow. I prefer to limit the use of non-biodegradable plastic wherever possible but don't relish popping used wipes in a non-lined bin with everything else. I use these little bags to collect unpleasant waste of this kind. The used bags can then be put in with other rubbish and will biodegrade once in the ground. Our council does not recycle food waste unfortunately so I sometimes use these bags to put scraps of trimmed raw meat or the like in. This reduces the smell in the kitchen bin. They can even be stored in the fridge until the kitchen bin is about to be emptied.

Value for money
We put all our used veg/fruit waste in a large compost bin in the garden, but having prepared all the veg in the kitchen used to put all the leaves/skin etc in a old bucket in the garage before transferring it to the large bin. However we have just bought a small compost bin which easily fits on our work surface and these small bags fit perfectly inside it. This means that there is no more mess and the bags are easily put into our large compost bin when full. Excellent and we shall certainly invest in more when the present number have all been used.
