Give yourself plenty of time for the adhesive to go off and take your time getting the size correct.The look is very good and as normal you get what you pay for.I am very pleased so far and hope I say the same in 5 years time.

This looks good to hide the filter. I used the recommended Juwel adhesive to attach the covering. But after a week the decorative cover detached its self from the filter so thus floated to the surface.

I followed the instructions to the letter and used silicon adhesive to fix it in place. The tank wasn't being set up immediately so I was able to leave it a week, clamped and braced. However, upon filling the tank with water one cover came off after just 2 days! Luckily it came off whilst I had the lid off as they are VERY bouyant and therefore when it came off it shot out of the water with tremendous force. I consider this to be very dangerous as had this happened with the lid on it would have smashed into the lights. The glue is still firmly attached to the cover so it seems that it was the filter itself that it didn't adhere to, indeed, no glue is visible there.Obviously I now have no way of reattaching it without draining all the water and leaving it to dry again, which I am certainly NOT going to do. So, I have wasted my money on something that I consider dangerous and unfit for purpose seeing as it is so bouyant. It looks rubbish with just one side in place so I'll need to remove the other isde too - looks like it's ready to come off as well, so shouldn't be a problem. The only good thing is that everyone who has seen my tank says they think it looks better without the filter cover anyway! Thank goodness I didn't fork out for the whole set of matching backgrounds!Definitely NOT recommended!

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der schnellen Lieferung dieser optisch wirklich tollen Rückwände.Natürlich braucht die ordentliche Installation ein wenig Zeit, und auch etwas handwerkliches Geschick, aber die Mühen lohnen sich mehr als. (Bei einer Neueinrichtung eines Aquariums sollte man sich sowieso Zeit lassen)Wir haben vorher auch die Rezensionen anderer gelesen, in denen öfter geschrieben wurde, dass man aufpassen muss, weil manche Welse in der Lage sind, diese Wände abzufräsen.. daher haben wir uns bei unserem Fachhändler des Vertrauens beraten lassen und uns für Panzerwelse entschieden. Diese lassen die Wände gänzlich in Ruhe und wir erfreuen uns jetzt jeden Tag an unserem wunderschönen Aquarium.Also die Mühe, die Zeit und das Geld lohnen sIch in unseren Augen definitiv!!!Wir haben im übrigen ein Juwel Rio 180, und auch den zugehörigen Filtercover verbaut.
