So far so good
Bought this phone with a bit of trepidation because 3 of the 7 Samsung phones I have bought prior to this one - either for myself or family - have developed a screen issue, Although only one was serious enough to require a visit to the service center. Thought of switching to a different company but seeing as all of them usually end up with some issue or the other, and the ratings of most of them end up around 4 stars anyway, I decided to stick with the known devil. And besides the display issue, most have served for a good time, including its ancestor, the M30, that this will replace. That too developed a screen issue but it was after 4 years of use so not complaining too much. Initial impressions so far has been decent. They have finally got rid of the water drop notch and gone with the punch hole in the M3x series, so that is good, it looks nicer. Even the overall design has been upgraded to bring it closer to the flagship S series with the flat sides and no camera island. No sharp edges either, so it is not uncomfortable to hold... except for the weight. Samsung phones, particularly the non flagship ones, are heavier than they should be for some reason (comparing to similarly spec'd phones by other companies), And this one is on the heavier side even among those at 222g. My primary phone too is heavy (not Samsung) so I am used to it, but I would nonetheless like a lighter phone. My father's M52 which has a 5000mah battery is 50g lighter and so much more comfortable in the hand and the pocket. If you add a case and a screen protector, the weight will increase even further so note that. The 6000mah battery however does its job and the phone is lasting me 1.5 - 2 days between charge. I'm not a heavy user though, no gaming or constant camera usage and such so your mileage may vary. I like the fingerprint sensor in the power button, very responsive. Better than the in display type I think. It supports sd card (hybrid sim - sd card) so that's good. The base 128gb model should be enough because of this, can upgrade storage with an sd card when needed. They have dropped the audio jack, but I have moved on to wireless so not a concern for me but I know there are die hard fans. A related drawback though is that FM radios are no longer possible since they need a wired earphone to act as antenna. I didnt use it too frequently but it was nice to have for those rare occasions. Not much of a camera guy so cant comment on how good or bad it is. Didn't notice any slowness or other issues, works well enough for my basic needs. No heating either - it was slightly warm during charging which is normal and again a little bit during video recording and the like, but that was barely so, less than during charging. I dont really do too many heavy processing type tasks, or even gaming. For regular needs this phone should be fine I think. If it stays this way for a few years I think I will be happy with this phone. On paper it seems to be a good phone at a decent price. I took a gamble by buying it soon after launch, without waiting for reviews. I havent noticed any drawbacks so far and hopefully it wont give me any reason to regret later on. Fingers crossed. Giving it 5 stars for now, will update if anything happens.

Value for money but Fast Charging not working.
This is a very good phone at this price point. It performed as I expected. The connectivity through phone, wifi and Bt was good. The display was excellent. So was the sound. The camera came up to expectations. It is bulky may be due to the large battery. But that was not compensated by charging and battery life. My only peeve is about Fast Charging. On plugging on to the charger, it displays โFast Chargingโ but within seconds it shows only โchargingโ. I have used the same charger and cord for my older Samsung which shows Fast Charging. I tried various combinations of settings for Battery and Charging but they were of no use. I took it to the Samsung Showroom. The lady there tried everything and finally said that the disappearing โFast charging โ display is a feature in the current series of phones. But Fast charging is happening in the background. I was unconvinced. At about 50% charge it shows I hour 18 minutes for full charge. I hope Samsung addresses this problem. I am hoping that with the Android upgrade next month this issue may be solved.

Pros Display is awesome at this price point Camera does a nice job in good lighting conditions Battery is pretty decent will last around 1.5 day for above avg users Stereo speakers are the best and most underrated feature of this phone UI is smooth and has almost every useful feature Cons Takes around 2hrs to charge Bit on the heavier side but does'nt feel much due to fine wt. distribution Low light pictures are not as good as other phones of this price segment Selfie camera could have been better Final Verdict If you want a samsung phone with good display camera speaker and don't play games that much you are good to go Tip: Try to purchease 8/128 GB varient if possible

My 5-Month Experience with the Samsung M35 ๐ฑ
1. Camera Quality ๐ธ The camera quality is good, capturing natural colors without the over-processing effects found in many Chinese phones. However, one thing that really disappointed me is the latency โ I tap the shutter, and the picture gets clicked 2โ3 seconds later. ๐ 2. Battery & Charging ๐ With a 6000mAh battery, the backup is impressive. But the charging speed is quite slow due to the included 25W support only. Donโt expect fast top-ups. ๐ขโก 3. Gaming & Heating ๐ฎ๐ฅ You can enjoy gaming for 4โ5 hours without heating, which is great. But after that, especially in the summer, it does start getting noticeably warm. ๐๐ฅต 4. User Interface & Features ๐งญ Nothing too fancy here. The UI is just like other Samsung phones โ clean and simple, but not loaded with extra features. ๐คทโโ๏ธ 5. Weight & Ergonomics ๐ชจ The phone is quite heavy, mainly due to the big battery. Watching movies or reels while lying down for long becomes uncomfortable. ๐๐ฑ 6. Box Contents ๐ฆ This part is really disappointing โ you donโt get a charger, back cover, or screen guard. Just a Type-C to Type-C cable and the phone. ๐ ๐ธ 7. Fingerprint Sensor ๐๐ After around 5 months, the fingerprint sensor has started acting up occasionally, which can be annoying. ๐ 8. Overall Verdict โ Overall, itโs a decent phone with a strong battery, good camera, and solid performance. But keep in mind the extra costs โ a charger, back cover, and screen guard can add another โน11,000โ12,000 to the total. ๐ฐ๐ฒ

It was a good decision from an M31 user.
I brought the 8GB RAM, 128GB space one. Camera is better than the M31 which I had. While M31 boasts of 64MP, hard to believe that this one which has 50MP has a better camera quality, including night camera. I have used one SIM and one SD card of 512GB which works perfectly fine. So far it didn't hang on me. Battery life is good. Same as the M31 with 6000mah. The phone cover was brought separately. The drawback with this phone, had to buy 24w charger and DAC to 3.5mm jack connector separately as these weren't included. Sometimes it heats up while using social media. Didn't have an issues of the youtube video quality switching from Ultra HD to 480P. I believe this might have to do with the mobile network, as mine was connected to WiFi. Has bluetooth v5.3 more easier to connect with bluetooth devices. It has Gorilla Victus and hope it'll last longer as it boasts. UI is very easy to customize. 5G connectivity in my area is poor, so using 4G and WiFi. Need to test 5G connectivity in another area to see how strong this is.
