This light is perfect for all events whether your camping, the power goes out, or just reading a book.

First impressions:It's a little heavy, but the weight makes it feel a little more durable.... possibly less likely to break or tip over.The included instructions weren't very helpful. They are a little vague.There are a few things in the box that I'm a little unclear as to their purpose because directions don't really say. There are several reflective stickers, which I assume are to replace the ones that are already on it (not sure why it needs to be reflective in the first place). There are also 3 long hooks/spikes......I'm guessing these are maybe to anchor it down somehow if it were sitting on the ground (like tent stakes). I can't really imagine why that would be necessary). Or they could be some kind of hanging hooks...again... instructions are a bit unclear.Pros:- Bluetooth pairing was very easy. All you have to do is push the music note button on the speaker and look for 'R7" in your device's Bluetooth menu. Super easy.- Good weight as I mentioned, makes it feel solid and durable- audio volume was loud and sound quality was pretty good. Volume is also a bit of a negative (see cons).- The light was pretty bright and the multiple lighting modes were nice.Cons:- unclear directions- The colored ring light at the bottom flashes and changed colors to the music. This is a cool feature and could be fun (at times), however, there is no way to turn it off that I could find. I don't always want to have the flashing lights (flashing lights sometimes give me a headache). Maybe there is a way and I just haven't found it, but instructions were not helpful.- volume: The volume is good on the high end, but not as much on the low end. At it's lowest volume it is still fairly loud. For most scenarios I guess it would probably be ok if you weren't sitting right next to it. It's not super loud, but it just seems like it should be able to go a little lower/softer.Overall it's a decent product...kinda cool to have around. There are a few issues I have with it (mentioned above). I rated it 4/5 instead of 5/5 because I feel like at this price point those issues make it come up a little short in a few areas.

The media could not be loaded.  So in the interest of full disclosure, I already have a camping lantern in a similar design.But when I saw the Amazon listing for this 1mii Lavaudio Rechargeable Camping Lantern with Bluetooth Speaker, I immediately ordered one.Because it has all of the useful functions of an on the go camping lantern PLUS it has a convenient Bluetooth Speaker built in as well.I mean, seriously, if you're a music lover like me, how convenient is that?And it has a lot of well designed features.Dual brightness levels with an infinitely adjustable dimmer.An Emergency SOS flashing signal light function.A rechargeable onboard battery that not only powers the light and speaker, it also functions as a reserve battery bank for charging other devices.So, my son inherited that other camping light, because this one is MINE!

To start out, I have never had a camping lantern like this before. This thing is packed with features. The build quality is great. It feels really sturdy and it has some good weight to it. It's perfect for travel and for just hanging out in my backyard when I'm barbecuing.I love It's compact size. I also like the built-in telescopic pole that attaches to the light. That feature alone has come in handy. I have been using a lot when we're hanging out in my backyard cooking. I like that the light part swivels so that I can use it as a lantern or a flashlight. I was really surprised at how bright the light gets. I'm also able to dim and change the light settings from a cool white to a warm white light as well.Another cool feature that comes in handy is that I'm able to use it as a power bank to charge my phone. That feature alone is priceless. The battery life is pretty decent depending on if I'm using the lantern function and using it to charge my phone at the same time and also if I'm using the bluetooth speaker function to play music.One of my favorite features of this device is that I'm able to use it as a bluetooth speaker. For what it is, it surprisingly has some good sound quality. For it's size it has pretty decent volume, but with that being said I did notice a little distortion when I'm playing it at max volume. It also has built-in magnetics on the bottom as well, but they seem to be a little weak and have a hard time holding it due to the weight of the device itself. Overall I would say that this is the coolest camping lantern that I have ever had, and I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent Quality and brightness

I don't need another outdoor light with this light. It is surprisingly bright, and the ability to be able to pivot the lamp head around made it easy to light up whatever area I needed illumination.It connected to bluetooth easily. I made a mistake the first time and long pressed the music button to turn on what I thought was the light. I though I had a dud, but after figuring out my mistake, all was well. The sound can get pretty loud, which made it a great companion to my rather loud projector that I took with me. Now I can actually listen to the movies I play without straining my ears!Love the design of the lamp, it's sleek and easy to use. The stand pops open with a satisfying click of the button at the base of the light. I just really like it. I am looking to find a better case though. I guess that's the only neutral thing I can say about this lamp. It's made so well, but the carrying case is a drawstring bag that won't protect it other than from some scratches. A hard case would have been a better option. For the high price of the lamp, it should have gotten a better case. That's the reason for the star deduction.
