awesome battery life
I've always had Apple AirPods, and these far surpass those in battery life! I can go at least 4 days on one charge with these, playing them about 5 hours a day. And the sound is good too, though I am not an audiophile and I listen primarily to speech.

Great value but not top of line noise canceling
I've been using these for about 1 week now after losing Bose Quiet Comfort noise cancelling ear buds. So my review is mostly a comparison of the two.SONY Pros- Much cheaper than the Bose- Smaller carrying case- Buttons on earphones are easier to use than the trackpad-like interface of the boseSONY Cons- The noise cancelling isn't very good. The Bose would drown out the conversations around me. The Sony don't drown them out. They only seem to dampen them.- My right earbud keeps falling out. This is probably just a personal issue and not necessarily true for other users.

Pretty Good for the Money
I was having too many problems with my Pixel buds on a linux laptop and decided to try these, and they did solve the problem. They sound about the same too for less money. I cannot hear any difference between the noise cancelling and ambient settings. The function buttons are gigantic and it is way too easy to accidentally hit them if you touch the buds for any reason like adjusting the fit in your ear. A real design flaw if you ask me. The Android app to do setup stuff is really poor. Expect tradeoffs when things are priced cheap. Also if your ears are smallish these are kind of bulky. That review I read on Techradar really oversold these, I was expecting something a bit nicer. Fits my budget though, so fair enough.

Garbage earbuds from a garbage company
Do you want you earbuds to remain on, even after you place them in the charging case? Do you enjoy your earbuds being dead when you go to use them because they've been connected to your phone while sitting in the case? If so, then these earbuds are for you. I reached out to Sony, only to be told that I have to purchase their products from an authorized Sony dealer in order for the to qualify for a warranty. I will NEVER buy another Sony product.

Noise Cancelling is Meh
I never write reviews but I figured I’d help some people out. The sound quality is alright and it is pretty comfortable. However, I have small ears and they hurt after wearing these for a little bit. If you’re looking for earbuds specifically for noise cancelling, look elsewhere. The noise cancelling works but I can still hear quite a bit of the noise around me, especially if I dont have music playing in the earbuds. I really needed something to cancel all or most noise. This was pretty disappointing :(
