These were a must have for my growing collection of fluffy jumpers. More recently, my mother bequeathed me two 100% wool jumpers and I thought I would freshen them up for winter using wool detergent. But, afraid I might do damage by washing them in the machine, I bought this pack of two mesh bags as added protection. The zipper is strong and has a zip guard preventing the zip from coming off at the end. My jumpers came out immaculate and completely undamaged by the harshness of the drum thanks to these bags which I might add remain zipped throughout. I literally would not be without these bags as they go a long way towards protecting delicates and also, preventing lint and pet fur from clinging to certain garments. Recommended!

These are a good size which each hold a tee shirt or about 6 pieces of underwear and have quality zips.

Since I have so many satin and silk tops and pillowcases and nightgowns.. this was the absolutely best for washing those on a low “synthetic” and “delicates” cycle. No more hand washing of these for me! I found them to be quite easy to use for the washing machine. You see the bags aren’t as porous.. in fact, I don’t think any fibre from other materials will be able to seep into these bags. Also very useful if you’re washing cotton with wool for example. I actually washed my white cotton smalls in them on a 90° cycle and they came out just as they went in, strong! The zips are fab as well. I think they’re going to last a long time and here’s what I think as well.. if you pack your clothes and secure them well in these bags, before throwing them in your wash basket, no tiny insects can get into them. Yeah I think they’ll last me a good decade or more!
