Review: I used this to build a pig rotisserie and it worked great. It was gear reduced further another 8-1 and it easily spun 120lb of meat for hours and never got hot. The speed controller was very nice unlike others that simply are a adjustable resistor and starve the motor of voltage causing the motor to burn up. This performed great, it has what appears to be a load capacitor on the side and can be adjusted from 1-100% I ended up making my own mounting bracket becuase the one I found after hours of searching was going to take to long to get. The correct bracket for this is LD-180W-370W

I used this to build a pig rotisserie and it worked great. It was gear reduced further another 8-1 and it easily spun 120lb of meat for hours and never got hot. Good torque and speed control. Drive will back drive under heavy static load. 80# load on a 4” diameter cable track would slowly back drive after motor turned off if no additional brake incorporated.
