Solid. Great mechanism on the lid bracketToo a while to assemble but very happy with the result.

STOP!, DO NOT BUY THIS!!, You will be wasting your time and money, the quality of the steel is so flimsy that it will bend when pick it up, also to return it, you will have to arrange your own carrier and they will not refund you back the cost. I had to take a day off work to get this return sorted plus paid two different carriers as the first one didn't come and paid over £120 in courier costs and still waiting for a refund from the first courier.

Once built this is a strong, robust storage box but assembly is a nightmare. The nuts and bolts are really too small for adult fingers to hold. Add to this that quite a number of the nuts are not in line of sight as you build the box, and in fact some are concealed by the flanges of the box, and your difficulties are multiplied. Ideally larger nuts and bolts are required. You could then hold the nuts in place with a box spanner even when not visible.I had thought of possibly redrilling the many holes to use larger fittings but as there are very many this would have been a major undertaking and produced sharp shards of metal creating a risk for pets.The box looks good when assembled. Let’s see how it withstands a Scottish winter.

Great quality, sturdy and looks good.

metal really thin and came as a flat pack took 6 hours to assemble nuts and bolts for assembly tiny could hardly hold them no point in having hydraulic arms this is just a feature to fool you into thinking the box is heavier than it is. Once assembled not really rigid. Should have sent it back before I assembled it!

The item arrived swiftly and was properly packed so full credit to the retailer. Now it goes downhill it’s a badly made piece of Chinese rubbish. The instructions were extremely unclear. Some fittings referenced in the instructions were not there , but there were others that were not referenced. They provided around150 tiny self tappers and nuts (without proper bolts - they had soft cross head bolts instead) these were too small for the job. Good job I had a set of very small spanners. Being so tiny they were incredibly fiddly to fit. I’d recommend a magnetic screwdriver and a magnet on a stick to pick up all the ones that your drop. The gas struts didn’t fit and only allowed the lid to open half way. The bottom did not fit properly. Even when fully assembled (minus the gas struts) it was still prone to racking side ways. I took the rivet gun to it and now it’s as stable as it should be. Simply don’t buy this item and save yourself several hours of grief!

Easy to put together and holds so many things!

Not the easiest too build definitely required 2 people indeed got a third one at one point when attaching lid. As yet not got lock working but this was due to difficulty tightening as did not have correct spanner. Locking mechanism looks flimsy not sure how long it will last. However does hold considerable amount bird food and other non valuable items I have taken from hut to give me more room there for tools.
