 I wanted a simple camera that I could use to check on my dog while I was out of the house. I chose this unit because it comes with a mounting bracket that allows it to be positioned distcreetly but with a good view of the room.It was ridiculously easy to set up - install the app, enter your WiFi access key (it uses 2.4GHz networks only) scan the barcode on the camera and that's about it! The image quality is good - the artefacts you see in the video when the camera moves are because I was recording video remotely from my office via a 3G cellphone link. The camera has full pan & tilt control with digital zoom.Connecting remotely from a phone or tablet via a WiFi or Cell link is simply a matter of opening the app and clicking on the icon for the camera. Downsides? There is some noise on the soundtrack when the camera is moved but that's about it.

I bought this product to spy on my pet cats while I am out. I'm happy I bought this product.It was easy to setup, I just scanned the QR code which took me to the app store and i installed the app on my android phone.To setup the camera, again I just scanned another QR code on the bottom of the device and the process was pretty straight forward. I managed to do it without reading the instructions. I am impressed with the video quality of this product, even at night! its very clear 1080p quality. You can control the camera with your phone remotely. My camera is linked to WiFi and left on at home, I open the app while out and can see my house and move the camera around almost 360 degrees. I have attached some photos of the quality.

I have 2.4GHZ WiFi - with full access to all settings - an iphone, an android phone, laptops - PC's and a pretty good amount of patience. I also have a masters degree in Electronics, and design more complicated systems than this all the time. Could not get his to work - BEWARE - there is no customer support, web guide or other - this camera may work ONLY if you have the very narrow range of perfect conditions - very poor tech, no support DON'T BOTHER

 I have never used an IP camera, but with this one I’m really satisfied.The main reason of my purchase is to check my dog during my working hours, since he is used to sleep on the sofa.Installation is very easy and the companion app for android allow not only have a look of the place but also turning the camera, activate the motion alarm and select where save the video.About the picture quality, it s very sharp specially when you switch to 1080p and the bidirectional microphone is very clear. There could be a short delay but I think depend on the connection.

I chose this camera out of a combination of favourable reviews and incredibly discounted price! However I became very concerned when I read the many bad reviews of the iSmartViewProApp that you need to use with the camera.It is true that the written manual that comes with the camera is not easy to read! Having to load a QR code reader to find the app seems a bit of a gimmick as the Google Play search finds the name easily enough; similarly for the camera ID, which is clearly written in text as the DID (Device IDentity?) underneath the camera.I had to use 2 methods to get everything working: first the “Wireless Wizard” linked the camera with my router; then I had to use “Add already connected camera” to link it to my 'phone. It does all take a fair amount of time!The picture quality is surprisingly good and I have found a corner of the room where I don't have to pan the camera, because there is a delay between swiping the screen and the camera turning (but presumably you're not going to use it for watching Formula 1 or a tennis match!).We went out later, and my wife and I laughed all afternoon watching our two dogs laid back on the sofa, where they don't venture when we're around.The app isn't perfect: a few times it didn't connect. I haven't tried all the bells and whistles like intercom, motion sensing, and alarms. I may be tearing my hair out at it tomorrow, but so far it has done what we bought it to do; and for less than £40, the technology is awesome!UPDATE Jan 2019: Heaven help the country if people like Richard, who wrote a review dated 18 Aug 2018, get given a Masters degree in Electronics but can't get this camera to work! He must work for one of those companies you hear of that write programs for the government: don't deliver on time; don't meet budget; and don't fulfil requirements!I decided to update my review because I want to give full PRAISE to the friendly MIBAO team at [email protected] who went to EXTRAORDINARY efforts to get me an extension lead and sent it from China in little more than a week. I cannot think of any company I have ever dealt with who has given better service. I would give them 10 stars if it were possible!

I love this camera - I used to worry about my dogs almost every day at work, especially if I was delayed coming home. Now I can see exactly what they're up to while I'm at work!It was surprisingly easy to install, although confusingly the manual suggested connecting the camera to the router, but there is no network port! However, once I installed the phone app, and followed the instructions on there, it took less than a minute to connect the camera to the WiFi and I'm not very technical!On the phone, you can scroll the picture in any direction and capture photos or videos. You can also program some preset positions making it easy to switch from one angle to another. The default picture quality is poor (480p) but there's a setting to switch to 1080p and this is MUCH better.The camera is well constructed, easy to use and looks stylish. Very happy customer!
