I have a Bosch GOP55-36B. This is the greatest plug-in oscillating tool that I have come across so far. Quite powerful vs my 3 old Fein tools. Starlock is great! BUT, the sanding pad included with the tool was worthless. I bought this pad to see if Bosch had something better. In fact this is the Swiss made version, the one with the tool was not. This design on this pad is slightly different. A different hole shape. However the hook pad appears to be the same. The performance is useless on either pad. The issue is the sand paper won't hold to the pad. After only a short time of use the paper shifts and the hook pad surface is exposed—and will quickly become damaged. Also with the paper loose the sanding action is markedly decreased. This problem happened with the original pad and this Swiss-made pad. I also tried some Kingsford paper and the same thing happened. Bosch needs to re-engineer this sanding pad. This slippage doesn't happen with the Fein units. This problem kills the unit as a sander. (Note that I recall seeing another comment on Amazon about this Bosch sanding pad issue—also negative)

After just a minute of use, the sandpaper falls right off the pad. The pad actually began to melt too! I tried using different sandpaper and it was no different. The pad is absolutely worthless, no sandpaper stays attached to it as soon as you turn on the tool. Wish I had realized sooner because now it is too late to return it.

Bought the sanding pad to use on my 18v Bosch oscillating tool. It was working great for the first few minutes of use then something didn’t seem right, as if it stopped sanding. Upon further inspection the rubber pad had loosened from the metal plate that attaches to the tool allowing it to twist back and forth freely. This rendered it completely useless as the pad itself no longer oscillated. Very disappointing. Never had a problem with any of my other Bosch products, will have to try one from their more expensive competitor.

I was worried about the pads don’t stick to the base but haven’t had any issues so far. Great for precise works.
