It's a SAFE way to work.
I'm 70 and in great shape, but I take precautions. This ladder adds lots of safety features to my work. With this tool, I can have one hand on a rail while I paint, and can keep the paint can on a flat and STABLE surface: the top stair. This ladder is pretty heavy, which I actually love. It's not going anywhere, once I wheel it into place. Also, having FOUR feet on the floor instead of two, like a regular ladder, it's much less likely to tip over. It has wheels which make it possible for me to move it around AND those wheels do not touch the floor unless you've tilted it back and are actually moving it. So there are no wheels on the bottom! Safe safe safe! Well worth the price. I call it my old lady ladder. 😊

Sturdy ladder
After reading some of the negative reviews I was skeptical of this ladder. I was surprised at the sturdiness and quality of this product. The only negative issue I can report is that instructions should have been included instead of the wrenches that were supplied. I used my own tools and assembled it by looking at the finished product on my computer. Aside from that I was very satisfied with this unit after it was assembled. I would definitely recommend it.

Pros and Cons
Pros: it is sturdy and the casters aren’t bad at all for a shop. I used my shops hardware being 10.9 grade bolts and it is really sturdy. Can’t express that enough it held up in the third step from a 6’2 280 pounds. Cons: well the welds seem sketchy, one of the holes needed to be finished, and the caster to the left is slightly crooked. So it is worth it but don’t over due the tightening of the bolts and nuts or you will eat through the metal.

Very sturdy product, very poorly packaged by manufacturer.
I am very much in the middle of the road with this product. Once it was put together, I found it to be very sturdy; it is a very heavy set of step stairs. It is fairly easy to mover about by tipping it back onto the 2 wheels and rolling it where you need it. I do find it much easier to climb and stand with the side bars and the wide steps. What I really didn't like is the way it arrived. The box was broken in several places with fairly large holes. There are a few scrapes on the metal pieces. What was probably most disturbing was that the packet of screws was open and most of the screws were loose in the box. There were absolutely no instructions or pictures of how this was supposed to go together and there were 2 different lengths of bolts. Once I figured out which length screws went where, I quickly realized that there were more than a few nuts and bolts missing. When I tried to get a replacement, for some reason the replacement order was cancelled after shipping and returned to Amazon. In the meantime, I had a very kind and generous neighbor who has a jar of extra nuts and bolts provide me with the sizes and numbers I needed to put this together. I did see other reviews with the same issues over time but hoped the company had resolved product packaging issues. They did not. So, if you can figure how to put things together on your own and have the size and number of nuts and bolts needed or are willing to go to a hardware store and purchase them, go ahead and order this model. My best advice on putting this together is don't tighten the screws until all the screws are in. I found it wobbling a little after placing and tightening the first few screws. I loosened them and finished placing all the nuts and bolts, then completed tightening them all. It now stands very steadily and securely as I climb up on it.

Good
Sturdy. Solid.

Weakest Link
This stair is heavy and sturdy, but the casters (wheels) are not good quality and is the weakest link on this stair as they bend, break or fail and that will cause the whole stair to be unstable. I plan to replace the front two casters with better quality wheels/brakes.

Great steps
I bought 3 plastic sturdy steps for my warehouse but this one is great for the purpose I need it for. I'm building steps to make a mezzanine. These steps are perfect.
