Celtic Etched Thalia Capo 200 in Black Chrome Finish with Indian Rosewood Inlay

Having heard good things about Thalia Capos but having rejected the idea of ordering from the USA because of the expense, I took advantage of a reduced price for this model. I was delighted with the quality of manufacture, the appearance and the fact that it didn't mess up the tuning when used on a number of guitars. This was with the default rubber/plastic insert which seems to be a bit harder than that used on G7 capos. The capo came with a number of replacement inserts for guitars of different fretboard radii and 'odd' tunings but, so far, I have not had occasion to use any of them. All these 'extras' obviously helps explain the cost, which is significantly higher than a lot of other quality capos. The Thalia capo is fairly easy to squeeze to put on the guitar and maintains a good grip. Having purchased this capo, at a slight discount, I would now be prepared to purchase a higher priced one should the design appeal, but the black chrome looks pretty good in my opinion.

Pricey, but beautiful and effective. I’ve already bought another one!
