These RJ45 couplers work like a charm. I had a couple of locations where ethernet cable was terminated and needed another 6' to reach the PoE switch, these couplers were used and they work just fine.

Worked great with my existing CAT 5E cables to extend them to NVR room. Easy to use and very sturdy

I needed to link some Cat 6 cables together and these worked great.

Good connection and good quality

I requested the HIKLOKT RJ45 Ethernet Coupler, RJ45 Coupler, in Line Coupler for Cat7/Cat6/Cat5e/Cat5 Ethernet for those runs where my husband lost his mind and did not have correct length when upgrading our home network. And, yeah, it happens. Hubby says these are probably the best couplers he has ever seen. They are definitely the heaviest he has ever encountered. Most likely due to exceptional shielding, he said. He was impressed with the uni-body construction, too, making the jack connection very tight with absolutely no wiggle room. That is unusual from his experience according to him. So, the bottom line is that these couplers are the ones you want if you are anticipating a 10G network run that might consist of a couple of variable lengths to reach your target. They also come in handy for testing or temporary connections, such as configuring a new box, switch, etc. My hubby (an IT guy for about 20 years) absolutely recommends these couplers.

These Ethernet couplers are fantastic! You can never have too many of them. While I wouldn’t recommend using them as a permanent solution, they’re a lifesaver if you need to run a temporary cable and don’t have one long enough.They do exactly what they’re supposed to do—connect two cables seamlessly. If you’re ever in a pinch, these will definitely save your hide. This is a solid set of couplers. Nicely built and not light and cheap like most. No problem running 10gbe through them at full speed. I recommend.

On the seller page it says these devices work with cat5 cable. The packaging for these devices say they work with cat5e and cat6 cable ONLY. I'm using cat5e cable and they don't work. Very disappointed!
