Wish I could say pumping it was a breeze
I am giving it 5 stars because the board is excellent and I love it once it's inflated. I wanted to the "pros" of an inflatable board (travel, easy storage) so I opted out of a hard board. I wish I had known more of the "cons" of inflating it, and I read so many reviews. So I am going to share those cons here for anyone weighing the options: The first time I inflated the board I wanted to do it by myself. I pumped it for about 10 minutes before handing the pump to my strong tall husband. He finished it with ease but it took about 220 pumps and 15 minutes minimum. The next time I went out on my own and had to inflate it myself. I got it done in 15 min approx, but was sweating and my arms were tired before I even got out to paddle. I'm a relatively fit person btw, but hunching over the pump is not great on the lower back. Soooooo I bought a $70 electric pump. Even that is a frickin pain. Another con is that when the backpack is packed up, it's HUGE. I am a petite 5'6 woman and it's like carrying around a 12 year old kid in a backpack. Not light and very large. It would make more sense if it was in a rolling case. I manage to carry it but again it's an absolute back breaker. For those reasons I wish I would not have gotten an inflatable board. Setting those key logistics aside, the board, once inflated, is light, easy to carry, and very stable on the water. It's attractive, well made and *almost* as fast as a hard board. If your friends have hard boards you might be working a little bit to keep up. If you still want an inflatable SUP then this one is a great choice.

Highly Recommended!!
I am so happy I made this impulse purchase! The board was easy to inflate and took less than 15 minutes. The backpack was very comfortable and made carrying the weight (I estimate just under 40lbs with everything packed in it) down a steep dirt road and stairs to the beach easy! The hardest part was lifting the bag onto my shoulders, as you need some decent upper body strength. The shoulder pads are thick and has chest and waist straps to secure it. The board was sturdy and accommodated the weight of two adults with ease. It is a little bit harder to balance on than a carbon fiber board just because it is a significantly lighter board all around, but not something that I won’t adjust to with time. It is easy to deflate and roll back into the bag. The bag easily carries the paddle, fins and pump. I will be packing another bag to put the pump in prior to putting it into the backpack as I think sand would be bad to get into the pump. Even after drying the board in the sun and rolling it on a line of clean towels, a small amount of sand still ended up in the backpack. My only complaint is that the paddle only adjusts to pre-punched settings and being a 4’11” female, the shortest setting was still a tad bit too high for me.

Actually meets (and exceeds) its weight capacity -- great board!
I weighed 415 when I got this board. the one I bought was rated at 405. I filled it to 15psi and the board stayed completely above water. It was fairly hard to balance for a while. falling off the first few times on my knees. and it took me probably 6 separate trips to stand. So if you are at or near the weight capacity, balancing will be tougher and take a lot of practice. But it absolutely can hold its advertised weight. My wife, at 170, can literally do workouts on this thing in the water. Situps, pushups, yoga, air-squats... it is incredibly easy to balance on if you're at a "normal" weight. The board tracks fairly straight, and doesn't seem to have much drag at all. I can get it going ridiculously fast. My wife has a little more trouble getting it up to a good speed, as I think it's probably a lot of board if you're smaller or only have moderate upper-body strength. regardless, she still has tons of fun on it, she's just not winning any races :). I, on the other hand, feel like I can chase a speed boat for a good 30 seconds. It feels really incredible to get up to full speed and glide.I bought this as a way to maybe get a little exercise and ended up going to the bay to paddle every day last summer. It was so fun and tiring in the best way. I dropped a good 30 pounds that summer (mileage obviously may vary).Honestly, the thing I miss most about being in lockdown is not getting out to the bay now that things are warming up. As soon as it's safe to do so, I'm getting back on this guy for the rest of the summer. Great quality, good construction, good design. You won't regret buying this.

Great SUP Inflatable Kayak
I am an avid Kayak user. I live right on the Bay and at times when by myself needed to think twice to take my Kayak from my place. The process of assembling an inflating was very straightforward and easy. I love all of the D-Rings this Kayak has and store. Since I Kayak often I also attached a Kayak seat to the board and worked perfectly. Having been on rigid boards before I did not see the difference in stability. The board is very stable and advances very well in the water. Needless to say that I was able to carry my board to the bay already inflated under one arm so it is very portable. I highly recommend this board and am very pleased with it. The pic was my first outing!! Hope this helps others in making a decision on this board,
