Decent matcha but instructions are awkward
Ever since I finally tried matcha earlier this year I have been interested in getting some that is less expensive aka one that didn't claim it was some kind of grade and this one seemed to fit the bill though I did notice something rather awkward at first glance. While the page says to use 1g as a guide which would equal to 100 servings were you able to measure it perfectly the back of the packet actually says to use 1.5h which made the servings claim rather confusing. That aside when I went to make a latte following the instructions (I happen to have a bamboo whisk) the result was quite nice with a good green colour and no noticeable issues in taste. Considering how easily it mixed I imagine it'd also be great for other things you might use matcha in like oats so seems decently recommendable just keep in mind if you follow the back of the packet you will get around 74 servings instead (still decent value).

Decent Matcha Powder, But Not Top-Tier
This matcha is a great option for those who don’t mind a less-than-premium matcha but still want the matcha flavour and health benefits. I use a small spoon of it and found it dissolves easily stirring it with a spoon or matcha whisk. It’s quite bitter and grassy, which could be off-putting for matcha newbies, but I found it worked better once I added some honey or milk. It lacks the vibrant green colour and depth of flavour from higher-quality options. This powder is pretty affordable compared to ceremonial-grade matcha. The 100g pouch lasts a while, with about 74-100 servings, depending on how much you use, so it’s a good deal for those who want to use matcha regularly.

-ˏˋ. Not ideal for drinking ˊˎ-
What I like about this product:✅ The resealable pouch is practical and keeps the powder fresh.✅ At 100g, it is perfect for those who would use this to bake/cook.However,⛔ First impressions - the colour of this matcha is dull and pasty, not the vibrant green associated with high quality matcha. This suggests it’s made from older leaves or wasn’t shade grown properly.⛔ The taste is extremely bitter and flat, lacking the rich umami and grassy sweetness that makes matcha enjoyable. I tried it both on its own and as a latte. It was undrinkable for me. Although, it may work for baking or recipes where its shortcomings can be masked by other ingredients.⛔ Compared to my regular ceremonial grade matcha, this product falls very short in both flavour and appearance, as shown in my attached photo.💬 In conclusion: If you’re looking for matcha to drink, this is not the right choice. It is simply not of high enough quality. It can work in baking/cooking however.

Seems Right
This powder dissolved well in hot water and whipped up fine with milk. I'm not enough of an expert/green tea aficionado to comment with authority on the quality of the taste, unfortunately, but what I can say is that it looks and smells alright, and it isn't clumpy. I did notice that there's a discrepancy between the listing and the back of the packet, as the listing says you can use 1g but the packet says to use 1.5g per serving. This could be down to personal taste or strength preference, though, but it would have been better for the packet to say to use between 1-1.5g. I intend to use the powder to make matcha cake in the near future, and based on how it dissolves I would say this is likely to work well for that.
