Works great, even when wet.
My water main valve broke so I couldn't shut it off all the way. I cut the pipe and sanded as best as I could while the water was still on, slipped this valve on, then shut the water off. Installation was easier than expected, you don't even need to push it on that hard. I'm not sure how it's holding because it seems a tiny bit loose, but it didn't leak and still hasn't leaked for about a month so far. For a new construction project I would prefer to sweat the pipes but if it's short-medium term or a wet project this is awesome.

Works great - high quality!
Installed two these today. Old PVC pipe. The PVC ball valves no longer shut the water off, so marked and cut the pipe below the old valves, shoved these into place. Tada! no leaks and I can now shut the water off.

3/4 pex pex shut off valve
It is the wrong valve but able to use it on another project. It should have been pex on both sides. It is pex on one side and threaded pipe on the other.Sent on time and is a good product.
